This little buggy is fast! I didn't realize small buggy like this can be so much fun to play with. The only problem I see is the steering, somehow it cannot go straight on full speed. After 6 years collecting dust on cabinet, I decided to run my first RC again. Several parts have been upgraded on past and I need to put new Lipo and receiver to run it again.

At 10:50 you mounted the pins for the rear wheels. I‘m really having a hard time putting these in. I tried for 1h yesterday and stopped. Any tipps? Another question. My front rims scratch the mount wheel hub on the inside. Should i add shoms or just loosen the wheels until they go free?
Hi mlugin, for the rear pin...maybe you mean the steel pin? if so, to be easier to put the pin, I put grease lubricant to the hole first, so the pin will stay there easily. For the front rims, adding washers is better.

Came out looking sweet. Basically use the same techniques and products. Not sure which you use but I use a plastic primer to start . Wasn't sure if you used regular or plastic primer first .

Picked up my first vintage sand scorcher recently. Doing mine orange with white side inserts ( doors but not wings ) . Kinda cal look style

That's juts a soap water for applying the sticker...so the position of the sticker can be adjusted ^_^

What parts you upgrade?
I am watching your video on building your SandSchorcer. I am immersed in they beauty of your editing and flow of your work. I am a little high between the Covid-19 and the (legal) gummy bear THC. I now feel I have built the SSB and the next time will be very relaxed and enjoyable. Thank You.

Very nice video. Relaxing with the music as well. I was thinking about getting one of these. Yours seems to have quite a few hop ups. I just think about £180 here in UK for a buggy with plastic shocks and a plastic chassis is quite a lot. And that steering servo rod has to travel quite a distance. :-)
Hi Mark, Thanks for coming by...Yes it is quiet expensive because it's Tamiya. We can get another brand with same price but better quality actually....well, if you are into Tamiya fan, it does not matter anymore ^_^
great job and good colours . Do long strokes from front to back and from side to side try to stay the same distance all the time through the stroke and try not to stab the spray nozzle that way you will get a nice even paint job and less work on the long run

Ok that’s kinda crazy, mine has also been sitting with a Speed Passion Reventon R 10.5 combo alongside it. Not exactly a common motor/ESC although I raced my 22-4 with it and still find it as good or better than anything else.
Yeah, I tried to abuse this dark impact with reventon R before and it damaged the gears. It's too strong for the car but it was really fun.
Do you have the program card for the esc, or better yet good slipper clutch setting? I’ve had two sets of replacement gears all these years still in the bag, never needed them.
@@infinitemotors Yes, I still have the program card and use PC to set the mode, brake and accelerator. I tuned down a lot for the accelerator. Better preserve the replacement gears though. Kind of difficult to find nowadays.

Yes it comes with steel bearing in the kit. All complete and no need to buy third party bearing.

I have one two but it has a castle creations mamba max and castle creations 7700kv Sadly parts were lost so it hasn't been run ever but when the parts arrive I'll be driving it also thank you because I never realized I had my servo backwards and double checked the manual

I had some how lost the battery cover and pin but was able to find them on tower hobbies. The myth the man the legend for under 20 dollars usd and the battery pin is aluminum too.

Hi there, mostly the part I bought from Hong Kong long time ago. You can try to search on RCmart site. For the rear I still using the stock part from tamiya whic his plastic due I cannot find any being sold on any online website. Front bumper I bought from ebay and the brand is T-Bone Racing or TBR.
