I've been looking around for a review for especially this model of hammock to find out if the mat pouch and mat is a good replacement for an underquilt. I'm currently changing from using tents to this and I have a mat from that. So itd be great to save some money in not purchasing an underquilt and use my mat. Any thoughts on this? Just for the Insulation purposes and not comfortability. Many thanks, Sam

I've only been climbing 3 times and it may be because I'm Spanish (and quite bad at climbing for now) and we're kinda extroverted here, but having other people giving me advice on how to improve my attempts is actually quite nice. It has happened several times and always with a friendly and not at all braggy tone, so I guess the vibes are important. Nice video, keep going :)

please - what spec is your rope? i know nothing about climbing but a 20-30m coil of something like this seems to be a good thing to have to hand

There is a much easier way! Use a fly-fishing reel with some thin paracord on it to chuck over a high branch and then pull up a slackline - or two connected for a really long arc. Tie off one end and attached a swing by carabiner to the other and you are in business in c. 3min...
