Procrastination.. That's the reason why this one took ages to upload haha.
But here it is! My favorite song.
I only have some parts of A Crater To Cough In, my memory card went full less than halfway through the song D: So yeah I won't upload it.

Circle Takes the Square - Enter By The Narrow Gates Live @ Studion, Kulturhuset, Stockholm, Sweden, February 6th 2012 I experimented with the ISO a bit on this one, you'll probably notice how it gets darker/brighter near the middle/end. Never heard any band play better live than these guys, the show was amazing.
I’m still listening since 2009
5:05
my biggest regret is never seeing these guys live
Bass players. 😂😂
Such a beautiful song
LFG 2024.20
WOOOOO
I wish they still did shows/concerts :(
life huh
I would bet money that’s it not coincidence that the guitar part that loops over the entire first minute of this song is exactly the same as the song from the dark and mysterious NES games Shadowgate
2024 год, Беларусь с вами, спасибо, возвращаюсь к вам с 2008 когда приуныл)
Вау!
He makes the guitar sound like a Violin
I really like this
New music would be nice
theres no way a time traveler didnt take this video lol better than most 2023 video quality awesome to see.
video quality is great. pity about the audio though
Light as a feather stiff as a board
I watched them live so intensely i recorded how to play the intro and it stuck in my brain. I invited them to stay at my house after. As the roots undo is one of the few "perfect" albums in the same line with the mars voltas full length after the tremulent ep. They are amazing i dont know what else to say.
Couldn't agree more! As the roots undo is an absolute masterpiece. Circle is and will always be hands down in my top 3 favorite bands of all time. I could just sit and read the lyrics with no music and be just as captivated, this album is another level for me, found it at a young age and it went with me through the best and worst of my life, dont mean to sound crazy but this record really means a lot to me as a lover and creator of music, wont lie i wanted my band in high school to just be this band. Fuck yeah I love Circle Takes the Square, haha
Yep. I'm still here
Nobody found my older comment ironic I guess -.- bummer.. Já Brá n still much luv
So glad im an 05 listener ❤❤
Same bro. Saw them play in a tiny house basement in like 2004 with 25 people
2023!!
That's a huge ass peddle board ^.^ I've got a sexy one myself..
Delicious ^.^
simply fantastic. I hope we eventually get a vol 2 decomposition
2022!
Esto es realmente impresionante una de las bandas que admiro mucho...!
This brings me back. Nostalgia.
X2
great ass in fact
Love this band
This is incredible. It's been many years since I've listened to them. Glad to see them actually perform here.
Ignorance is bliss, no wise woman's failed to mention And surely some koan suggests, "Neglect leads to perfection" But the more I turn my face from the crowd The more I feel my back's increasingly compelled For the sake of escape, to turn a knife on itself A knife of relief, from all the petty insight And finally I'll sleep And I'll sleep through the night Bored as fuck with this street corner-cover Study of a face in a figure Surveying this language as a game Surveillance of this language as the plague As the plague The dimension of persistence condemns As the plague, the plague The dimension of persistence condemns As the plague, the plague The dimension of persistence condemns This portrait of karma, crafted in accident Text book seduction, minus the text in the language of ghosts And so we ran Like the wolves were biting The inhibitions of their prey Kept them from screaming Scratch my back and I will stab you in yours So I chose to live this life alone Without the teeth marks, but I predict I'll have to sink my fangs in someone else's heart to heal my own Just a victim's split One part for the wolves, one part for you But I'll grow weary soon Weary of this fractal code Weary of this hallway lined with ghosts Just a scratch upon the skin A drop of blood to let them in Their words will cause the sweetest fracture From a stone's throw Just a scratch upon the skin A drop of blood to welcome them Parasitic, viral critics Or lovers Like spirits mingling in the mist that we crafted A starving jury Let them eat shit from our trembling hands The heat for heat's sake On this Barnard block of Congress Deductively speaking The polar of progress Well, maybe I put too much faith in the accident Entranced, we danced toward the ripest display of escape Let the starving ghosts feast From this flesh, from these bones Let them all feast In this chess game of language Forced to sit so I play all alone Watch the bathos drift forth like the petals From a wild crafted rose
oooohaha oha ooohahaooo ohahaoooo
best song ever written period
The lyrics to this song are pretty much my favorite words ever written.
man of culture
same here this id dear to me this band
i hold this band high in my heart, so talented and bad ass,
Great
That drummer thoooo
unbelievable fucking band. i saw them in boston. it was fucking monumental.
come to chile!
come to brazil
Is just me or do you think that Kathy and Jodie Foster look alike?
absolutely.
I first saw these guys in someones living room at a house show... They swept me way instantly. Great music and lyrics. <3
that is the drummer of Mare behind the kit there. 100000000000000000000000% more stoked on this as a result.
i still can't fucking believe this is actually two songs. i blew my friend's mind at a show once in between bands when i interrupted him (after having talked about them during the first song) and said "oh btw.. SECOND TRACK" he looked at me with the most hilarious blank, stunned stare. best reaction.
5:40 - 6:50 This section is amazing. Very technical.
OMG guys!!! ur awesome!!!!! :)
Damn they don't seem as awesome live as they sound like they should be.
Actually, they're really awesome. This live performance might not be as good as the studio version because they played it slower and they're missing the second guitar. Kathy's vocals were amazing, though.
When I saw them back in the early/mid oughts they put on a stellar performance.
it was utterly inspiring seeing them do this pair of songs live plus the rest of their set
I accidentally met these guys when I went to go see them at Mainstage in Pompton Lakes NJ. I never knew what the band looked like I downloaded both albums out of curiousity and gave both the self-titled and as the roots undo a few spins and loved it. When i got to the venue they walked up to me and started up a full hour convo before the show went on and invited us to chill with them afterwards. I was like "cool dude and girl i mean ok.. i guess". They went on stage and i totally flipped <3
that's what's so cool about liking bands like this. I have unfortunately never gotten to see them but when I ordered the vinyl from them I got a nice hand signed note of thanks from Kathy. You'd never get that from Coldplay or something
What a cool story :)
@@bender445wouldn't want that from Coldplay haha
it's only based on what you like, doesn't show up for me and I listen to them
