"LIGHTSPEED"
"LIGHTSPEED" | A ZACH MOFFATT DOCUMENTARY
In the late spring of 2023 I was given a seat in a van going west to Indio, California for Timlightyear Trios debut at Stagecoach. Over the course of 50 hours the band was set to play 3 shows in three states across the American Southwest. This footage was taken over those three shows and showcases the lows of the traveling musician. All the trouble in the pursuit of stardom.
There is something special in the chemistry of the Timlightyear Trio. Having ridden in several band vans I can say I have never seen a group so connected as friends as they are on stage. The way they are able to supply hilarious conversation translates to the rhythmic discourse when they take the stage.
Its an honor to document a story as short as it may be. These are folks who may not be documented much and stories you may not visualize when you see small acts.
Thank you to Tim Allen, Ryan Stogner, Nate Galvin, Houston Hall, Mark Erickson, l0rd lumpia, nobuddy, Hoots Pub, Punchy's Tavern, Stagecoach, and California heat for helping make this project possible.
We ended the run by shooting a short bit of the music video for Make My Way To You. This was mine and the bands opportunity to finally produce a piece that we put some elbow work into it. If you want to watch it the product we produced it is on @timlightyear6433 channel.

Greatest concert I've ever been to has been JR Carroll and Nolan Taylor at The Burl I'm Lexington, KY. Any time those two fuckers come around, bet your ass I'll be there.
Saw JR Carroll full band at Born and Raised and was absolutely blown away, incredible songs performed by the tightest band.

my cousin is going through a lot right now. He sang a cover of your song and he plays the guitar. He just put this up. I'm not trying to snipe followers at all. I just know how much pain he is going through and he has always been told by his now ex that he was no good or laughed at him. This is the first time I heard him myself.
