    So the greenhouse lets you start seeds early correct....but what do you do with it during the summer months? Im assuming it gets too hot during the heat of summer? Here in West Texas we see summer temps over 100, so I can only imagine it would be too hot inside even with the auto sensing window for ventilation. I do think it would be helpful in early spring to get a headstart on plants and instead of buying them at the box stores, im assuming we could start them from seed early.

    • @shepshomestead
      @shepshomestead 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I just use the greenhouse to start my plants from seeds in the spring. It's nice to have a place to keep all of my seed starting supplies together. In the summer it gets very hot inside the greenhouse so I haven't really used it for anything then. In the fall and winter I use it to store sunflowers and sorghum that I grow for my chickens. Thanks for watching.

      Thank you. It is a handy tractor for sure. I've never seen a 4wd one but I imagine the lever would be near the gearshift. I've never had a rotary tiller for the tractor, nor have I ever used one. I am sure the tractor would do fine with a 4 foot one, maybe even a 5 foot. Does yours have power steering? I'm looking at one locally that looks nice for what I need, but does not have power steering. Like yours it has no loader, and I'm hoping that would make power steering a non issue, but I'd love to hear your thoughts. My tractors with loaders will give you quite a workout when the power steering goes out lol

  • @MikeStafford-mc9ql
    @MikeStafford-mc9ql 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Does yours have power steering? I'm looking for an extra inexpensive tractor just to pull blades and other implements and found one of these locally. Looks like a great little tractor, but concerned about the lack of power steering. I'm hoping without a loader it's not really necessary. But I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

    • @shepshomestead
      @shepshomestead 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      My tractor doesn't have power steering and I don't have any issues with it being hard to steer. Mine has the wider front tires and I'm sure if you had one with the 4.00s on the front it would be even easier to steer. When I have the suitcase weights on it, it does make the front noticable harder to turn. The tractor is light enough that when you have an implement on the back, it will steer easy anyway. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
