i think the nand or the sb that died, i dont think its the gpu like they usualy do because it frose on startup instantly and the noise stopped, it does this often when either of those i mentioned dies

The one at the three minute mark appears to have a falcon plug with the Xenon/Zephyr power rating. Am I missing something? 16.5, the power input should have the post in the centre.

Dude I’ve had a zephyr that was made September 2007 and I actually bought original it had a red ring service in 2009 and well it’s newer been more reliable thinking of getting a slim though just in case

I have 2 Elite Jaspers. One is working fine but the other got lots of small white dots on the screen while playing a game so its GPU might be dying

You can fix red rings look it up, im pretty damn confident, and from what ive heard its easy. Im sure you already know this tho

Zephyr jasper or falcon? On the power socket how many amps does it take?

If you have a problem with the original Xbox 360’s I recommend getting the slim version or the E version instead of buying these older models over and over again.

I had it on my Xbox. To fix it do these things, 1. That wine it makes on start up is the hdd trying to connect. So remove it 2. Remove the disc and 3. Possibly change power supply as the caps may not be getting enough power

I’m going to get a friend Xbox 360 Elite to see if it works cuz him don’t have an HDMI cable and don’t have a controller and I have both so I think will be all right

Update August 19, 2024: unfortunately this console no longer works and is permanently stuck with the 0102 code. When I have the time, I’m going to try to repair it, but I cannot make any promises in the short run.

The only 360 UI that I never got to experience was blades. NXE, Kinect, and Metro are all what I remember the most

Metal bars are contact with the plastic. I had this problem too

this is very rare, those elite models were the toughest ones

This video gave me an idea to do the towel trick on my red ring and I found blades now I’m gonna fix the error code and repair the system

The 2009 service date ones were quite predictable. All of 'em usually have either X817791 GPUs or revised Rheas in them - both Zephyr and Xenon.
