Beef Steak
Ingredients:
• Two pieces of steak
• Chili sauce - 2 tsp
• Soy sauce - 1 tsp
• Salt - 1 tsp
• Pepper
• Garlic Powder - 1 tsp
Marinate the pieces of steak with these spices.
Method:
1. In a skillet take 1 tbsp of oil and place the steak in the skillet.
2. Sear the steak for 1 - 2 minutes on both sides on medium heat.
3. Add 2 tbsp of butter on medium heat so it doesn’t burn.
4. Then butter baste the steak for also about 1 - 2 minutes.
Tarragon Sauce:
Ingredients:
• Oil - 1 tsp
• Butter - 1 tbsp
• Onion Chopped - 1
• Cream - ½ cup
• Chicken stock - ½ cup
• Salt - ½ tsp
• Pepper - ½ tsp
• Dried tarragon leaves - 1 tsp (Use Mixed Herbs if Tarragon not available)
Method:
1. Add oil and onion in a pan
2. Sauté the onion for 1-2 minutes
3. Then add chicken stock and cream
4. Cook for a minute then add salt, black pepper and tarragon leaves
5. Cook at low flame until it thickens
6. Then add butter and let it melt
Mashed Potatoes:
Ingredients:
• Potatoes: 2
• Milk: ½ Cup
• Butter: 2TBSP
• Black Pepper: 1/2 TSP
• Salt: 1 TSP
Method:
1. Boil the potatoes, then peel them and set them to a side
2. In a separate pan, add milk and butter and give it a quick boil
3. Add spices just before the butter fully melts
4. Then mash the skinless boiled potatoes and add the milk butter mixture above
5. Mix and mash until smooth and creamy
