I literally just had this problem with my Corolla, but the thing is that only the rear carpet feels wet, and the water has started to find its way to the front carpet…What reliefs me is that I noticed you’re working on a car that looks exactly like mine from the interior, and I didn’t see any insulation foam or anything else that might have soaked in the water other than the carpet and some other spots you mentioned in the video… I wish I could take my car to you as I haven’t found anywhere where they’ll do it for under 1,500cad (I’m in Vancouver)…do you happen to know anyone who would do the job for a fair rate near metro Vancouver area by any chance?

Hello, on a lightly flooded car where the window was just open one night, can you get rid of the humidity with a professional upholstery cleaning machine or do you have to take out the carpet? One pro on youtube says there will always be water trapped under the carpet if you don't take it out. Same question for the backseat? Thanks

I feel you on the pet hair jobs it’s why they cost so much. Once you use the wire brush, air compressor, pet hair brush and it’s still some trapped in it’s like bruh. Sometimes the round brush attachment that you use to shampoo works because shifts the carpet around and the pet hair can’t run. It has to come out. Just don’t burn through the carpet lol good job.

Close… I would choose to polish with a 3” pad on a drill using either 3m plastic restorer or chemical guys. When you’re done with that step - the headlight will be perfectly clear. Then use meguaires headlight spray - which is chemically designed to work on polycarbonate plastic headlights lenses. While I do like Cerekote for black plastic restoration - I am skeptical that you’re getting the best results possible here. Whynot spend 5 more minutes and polish the plastic and use the meguiares. I mention this as I made the same mistake on a previous restoration kit… was there improvement? Yes… but 6-8 months later it needed to be redone. Go checkout the headlight restoration pros content… You’re already following 70% of it.. you just need to add green 3 m tape and the above mentioned other steps

You did NOT follow manufacturing instructions by taping around the headlight to prevent from scratching paint. You also did NOT wear rubber gloves included to protect your skin from the chemical in the final step
