The part I need to replace is the driver side knee dash panel strip, below the steering wheel shroud. It looks like it just snaps in and has only 1 screw under the dash but I can not see if that screw is for the knee dash panel or the side dash strip next to it. How many screws if any are needed for the knee dash strip panel under the steering shroud? I was looking for a repair shop manual but I can not find one.

Removing the windshield gets rid of half the fun

I have no communication from the power steering control module and ecm thru 1 wire. Do you know where the control module is at from going inside the car like u did ?

Do you need ro remove pillars to remove dash grill covering the 3.25 speakers? Edit: I completed the 14 speaker upgrade in my q60, and I definitely had to remove the pillars.

Massive shout out to you for this video. Watched it 3 times before doing my F20 118d M-Sport. Slighty different but similar enough and managed to get it done in 4 hours (including 20+ mins trying to get the steering wheel airbag off). Couldn't have done it without this video. Thank you!

idk if u still got this acc but my car wont start after i installed the dashboard it started yesterday and it wouldnt turn off i had to spam press the button and today it wont start at all and no dash lights come on at all

Great video it has proved to be very helpful in learning how to take out various components 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 what is that little sensor directly between the windshield and the GPS? I have creek in my dashboard that happens when I enter or exit steep driveways and the sound comes from that area, so I’m looking to take care of it.

I just want to replace my dash speakers how I do that without taking everything apart
