lossless scaling works really well they just need to fix the ghosting on the character's head

in the general settings check "enable cheats", and in general videos the aspect ratio force 16:9. then game properties in the gecko codes tab create a new code called 16:9 and enter the code you find on the metal gear dolphin wiki page (only the numbers without writing). only in this game in general settings overclock cpu 200% for 60 fps

@@TylerGamer88 I think I'm getting 60 or so FPS without the overclock so shall I keep it at normal? Also can you tell me if overclocking the cpu performance in the emulation settings is harmful or too stressful on the CPU of my PC?

@@clintthorpe9052 on the wiki it says that frame drops may occur with widescreen code. if it's ok don't increase it. It's not dangerous for your CPU. It's the emulated CPU. maybe it's too fast in my case now that I see the video again

@@TylerGamer88 Thanks man. You are right it does warn for FPS drops but so far thankfully it's been smooth.

hi, I have never tried metal gear solid 4, but from what I read on the rpcs3 website it is indicated as "in game" and not "playable" or in any case a game that still has problems. I think it will be released soon in the master collection vol 2 on PC. I prefer emulators that bring great improvements to what the original game was like. pcsx2 is awesome with its patches and textures. thanks for the advice on flycast, I didn't know that. I'm working on it now Spider-Man: Friend or Foe for pcsx2 with progressive scan patch and 60 fps

@@TylerGamer88 Yeah I think PS3 emulation is the most ambitious emulation project that's been made so far (unless there is something even tricker with Xbox emulation or something I haven't heard of), so no surprise there. I've seen a few TH-cam videos showing MGS4 and other PS3 games being emulated and playable now but it wouldn't surprise me if MGS4 in particular gave tons of trouble. No problem regarding the Spider-Man flycast advice. I randomly played around with stuff and it ended up working. I still think that the 30fps might be the best way to play as the game was designed for that and anything more might break the game but so far stages that would cause glitches on the PC version running 60fps do not cause issues on the Dreamcast version, so thankfully that is good news!! Ah, is Friend or Foe gonna be the next vid you make?

@@clintthorpe9052 yes, better to wait for Metal Gear Master Collection Vol 2 which will be released natively on PC. the best emulator currently is PCSX2 it has made huge improvements in recent years. it has many functions. yes one of the next videos will be Spider-Man: Friend or Foe.

@@TylerGamer88 thank goodness I remember trying to emulate MGS3 on it and I wasn't getting very good results. Even RPCS3 has come a long way, coz I'm able to emulate The Darkness 1 on it at 60fps so I'd say they've done a good job. You're right, I think for a more stable experience overall in Mgs4's case the Master Collection shall provide the best experience.

hi, this is the dreamcast version running on redream premium (premium allows resolution up to 4K). also in my case it says 60 fps but I think it runs at 30FPS. the game is like this natively and it is not possible to make changes with this emulator. thanks for watching, for a little help subscribe to the channel 🙂

@@clintthorpe9052 yes the video was exported at 60 fps, and also the program to monitor the fps says 60 fps (I think it means the HZ of the monitor). but the game runs at 30FPS

I think it depends on the CPU overclock in the emulator options. I'm not sure but I think it's random in another game I had played perhaps it wasn't there. thanks for watching For a little help subscribe to the channel

@@TylerGamer88 what would be the RE8 zip file? I did the same thing I did with RE4 (but I took the village framework otherwise it wouldn't start) but once in game I don't have the upscaler option

@@Federico555118922 at the moment I can't see on my PC, the mod needs several files to work 1)an upscaler file taken from nexusmods 2) the dll file for the dlss 3)and a zip file on github for your specific RE . then go back to the old nvidia 522.25 drivers because with the latest drivers the game crashes maybe I'll do a tutorial but at the moment I have too few subscribers

@@michaelrobles3722 A bit late, but he uses TotK optimizer, its a software that generates a mod for totk for you tu run with you emulator of choice. You can look up on TotK optimizer and you'll find it pretty easily. There's even videos showing how to use it on YT.
