How to Make a Floored Tent With One Tarp
In this video I show you a trick to turn one tarp into a tent with a floor and walls! If you have a square tarp, it works too, you just wont have the space outside the tent to put your shoes. Enjoy!

Make a Fire in the Snow
มุมมอง 605 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I show you some tricks to aid in starting a wet fire. The trick that made this fire possible is the use of the pine sap to help in starting this fire.
Making a Primitive Spring Snare
มุมมอง 1585 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I show you how to make a simple spring snare that doesn't require detailed carving. There are many designs for spring snares, this is just one of the more simple designs.
Building an Emergency Survival Shelter
มุมมอง 2.6K5 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video you will learn how to build one type of emergency shelter. This shelter was built in about 3 hours and could help you to get through a cold and rainy night. It is a lean to style shelter, but instead of being open on the large side, it is closed by a log wall.
Giant Deer Deadfall
มุมมอง 3525 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video you will learn how to make a giant deadfall that could help you to acquire big meals in a survival situation. The focus of this video is on the trigger mechanism, however this trap can be scaled up or down depending on the size of the prey.
Hope it doesn't rain!
That is a cool design, I fell tempted to roll up the "deck" part of the tarp to the interior, it would block the underneath draft beautifully.
and prevent any rain falling on it from spilling into the tent
how is it in summertime? is it hot sleeping at night? ty
Tohle si postav do velkého lijáku. Potom možná pochopíš jakou blbost jsi postavil. Dovnitř si zrovna oblékni plavky a vem si šnorchl. 👎
So complicated, when it can be so simple.
The lightbulb burnt out I wouldn’t let a midget camp in that setup ask yourself what happens when it rains I guess it would make for a nice waterbed 😂
Rain would run down the tarp left outside directly into your shelter. No tarp tent should leave half the tarp outside.
If it's that cold out you could pull the excess tarp back inside and pull it over you as a blanket.
Nice job
Regardless, I would turn the excess tarp underneath.
Thanks for sharing!!! I appreciate it!
as soon as it rains you are flooded, maybe rethink your design.
What size is the tarp n how tall are you I'm 5ft4
Вода будет лить внутрь
Why not take a tent?
I personally wouldn't use this setup - as others have said, that's gonna flood in rain, but tarp tents are really useful for keeping your pack light because there's no bones to haul around - just a tarp and pegs. Because they're usually just a square or rectangle of material, you can fold them or roll them up nice and small, and you can reshape your layout to better for your needs in the situation.
this is soo cool! thank you!
So maybe so of you please be able to help me or give me the info cuz I k now so stuff I would love to learn
I would love to learn for all of bushcraft people
Awesome
What size of tarp is it?
Thank you friend.
That's an interesting configuration. Thanks for sharing!
Oiii sou brasileiro e gostei muito do video kkkk
Deed tent idea
Hope it doesn’t rain !
Using a larger tarp or more than one always makes it easier to create a shelter that is roomier and other options-floor, door, etc.
Duh
Thanks for sharing , there seems to be a couple of variations of this one tarp set up , yours is interesting as it shows a realistic non square tarp , cheers big ears
Far North Bushcraft and Survival made an amazing job showing the same thing 6 years ago.
Bbbbbbbb
If you set this up on flat ground, the water would run from that flap on the side straight into the covered area.
That’s why he didn’t, and emphasized that water runs outwards because he is on a sloped hill.
ya think? lol
Or you just tuck that bit underneath
Nah that uncovered tarp will be use as a blanket.
Is that a childs tarp fort make this for my 5 year old all the time
I think that's only for demonstration, it fits only for a dog!🤦
