We just got off the ship yesterday and arrived home this morning.
Thank you Chris for sharing your experience. Was the Wilderness Discoverer a tourist boat where the passengers on one or both of the Princess ship booked excursions to get closer to the Glacier???
The Wilderness Explorer is a small cruise ship not affiliated with Princess Cruises. The ship reported an engine fire and was adrift with 56 passengers and about 18 crew aboard. The US Coast Guard requested the Sapphire Princess provide aid and stay on scene. No injuries were reported and all were transferred safely.

How about motion? Experience any rough seas during your trip?
Motion in the room was not bad and we did not experience any rough seas on this trip.
How was the noise from below?
Not really a lot of noise but a lot of vibration when the ship was navigating in port. At sea it was not really an issue.
