Hi Sam, ongelukkig kry mens nie meer parte vir die carbs nie. Ek het ook 'n ec17 hier wat se carb parte kort en ek kry nerens nie.

@@SamBuitendag-me6mx As die carb kompleet is sal jy hom kan skoon maak en hy hoord weer reg te werk, die carbs is baie goed gemaak. Tensy die throttle uit gewerk is en los sit, dan mag die engine dalk biedjie sukkel om te idle. Andersins as jy sukkel en jys naby an my sal ek kyk na die carb vir jou.

why is there no lifter for the intake valve? is the piston pulling air-fuel past the valve against the valve spring?
You are correct, it would be an atmospheric intake valve. They rely on a very light valve spring.
I have a real John Deere hit and miss engine and the intake valve on it is the same as this

I have a question on this carburetor. I pulled it off and a twisted metal piece fell out. I didn’t think much of it because I was really going in on cleaning the carb. I am back now putting it together and I don’t know which way it goes. If you could please help that’d be great
That is definitely a classic mower the way they breather tube goes up the handle to get fresh air to the carburetor is a One off type of air breather tube design

I have a old honda g400 generator that I have planned.
I just purchased a Lincoln 225 arc welder that I would like to restore. I have put a little bit of work into the engine to get it to turn over freely with success but I can’t get any spark! It’s the same motor that is in this video! Would you happen to have any pointers please and thank you.
Is it an electric start model or a manual start model?
I posted some info about the ignition system. There's a guy in Hastings, MN that is an old onan guru. The hardest part is figuring out the electronic ignition part if it doesn't have points.

How long does a tank of fuel last when you are running this engine And where do you get the fuel from
Id say one tank lasts about 10 to 15 minutes depending on how hard it revs. its a rather small fuel tank.

I had a minibike when I was a kid that had a 2 HP Briggs. What a great little engine. Despite its somewhat low performance, it was a fun little ride.

Thanks for finding a running one, with good compression by the sound of it. Rare mower now. Most people throw not-working mowers away (not even scrapped!). The twin is worth googling. Interesting mower. And unique. I have one for sale, and a box of parts including a couple of spare engines. Canberra

isavetractors.com do keep spares for this engine I am sure you can find what you need here. Its a USA based company and I think they do ship internationally if you are not in the USA
