Lego 12v train layout 2023
My Lego 12v train layout of 2023. The layout consists of two independant loops with several sidings. A total of 10 trains ride on the layout:
7725, 2x 7735, 7740, 7745, 7755, 2x 7760 and 2 locomotives (A and B) from 7777.
There's an 80's style village, a downtown area with a Modular Buildings street and a large passenger station, a freight yard and an engine service area. In the centre there's a fairground with working roller coasters.

    Love that you added a fourth carriage to the 7745 train....I did the same...has to be done ;)

    Nice. Looks very expensive though. I gave up on the idea of creating my own 12V Lego train village after a minor trial and some serious math. Now I am just getting into Duplo trains instead.

    Nothing is better than an empty room and loads of Lego track :-)

    Fabulous layout! Any idea how many track sections you used?

    • @maartenkrol4685
      @maartenkrol4685 ปีที่แล้ว

      About 300 pieces of straight track, 50 curves and 30 points.

      @@maartenkrol4685 That's incredible! It looks like you have multiple transformers as well. Is there just one giving current to the track or are there multiple? If multiple, how did you set that up?

    • @maartenkrol4685
      @maartenkrol4685 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve used three transformators: one for powering the mainline. This one is connected at multiple positions. The second one is only used for accessoiries (points, signals) and lights. The final transformator is connected to the yard section, which is electrically isolated from the mainline (by sawing a small section from the conducter-rail).

      @@maartenkrol4685 Thank you. I have a lot of track, but was not sure how many sections one transformer could support. I am impressed at how well your main one did. Your trains kept moving quickly through the entire loop.
