You | Short Film | Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K
Shot around various locations within Japan, You (2024) intends to take you on a short, dreamlike journey through the country's diverse landscapes. Principally, this short was crafted as a dedication piece to the person most special to me and as a fragment of the memories we have shared while travelling. I feel that memories are something difficult for us to perceive; we remember being in such and such place, but our consciousness turns it into a scattered fragment, as if those moments were just on the fly. Ultimately, that is what I tried to replicate here in video form. I felt like removing the spec of dust, but eventually I decided not to.
In the end, we are all just floating on clouds.
Shot on a BMCC6K and composited in DaVinci Resolve.

Hello, friend! Thanks for the comment. Lens: Canon EF24-105mm F4L IS ISO: I tried to use 400 ISO as much as possible because that is the camera's native ISO. Grading: I actually used Darren Mostyn's node tree template which can be downloaded for free on his website. He also has some great videos on colour grading uploaded on his TH-cam channel, too. Hope this helps!
