Thank you, although I actually kinda hate this design because it does use slime and honey blocks. It's actually possible to make one without slime or honey.

It's totally possible to make it seamless, even with slime, although I was mostly inspired by Mumbo Jumbo's 4x4 vault door design so that's why it's not seamless. My main focus for this door was to make it fast, so I wasn't thinking about seamlessness.

I got you a cool glitch that may be useful for redstone. It is pretty similar to the old trans-positioning glitch from Java 1.10. I can the link to the short if you want but I think that you would be able to make use of it

vertical piston extenders are far larger and often take up more space. Which is why I used a downwards dpe on the top instead to make it smaller.

@BlueKirby808 They actually aren't. That's why I refuse to make downwards ones in any of my builds. I have tested them, and they tend to make the build bigger because of the way you have to power the pistons when fully extended.

​​​​​​@@wer1123Well, typically, from my experience, a lot of basic vertical dpe designs require repeaters at the bottom piston (assuming you aren't using observers), but repeaters require support blocks, which ends up taking more space in the build. And since support blocks count as part of the volume of the build, they make it less compact. But for downwards dpes, the "support blocks" are the door blocks themselves, which ends up not taking up as much space.
