    The water filter housing should be attached to the wall. Eventually, you will have a leak. The 4 holes on top of the housing are for the metal wall bracket.

    The service of this company is really rubbish. I bought a whole house water purifier, and the supplier of the UV lamp tube sent it wrongly. It has been half a year since I found out that I couldn’t install it because of lack of accessories, and the supplier refused to return the product, too. Unfortunately, I deleted my account without any reason, so please don't buy this product.

    I needed to change my prefilter. So I called Aquasana and got the easiest way to do it. All I had to do was turn off the input, open the bathroom sink tap to release the pressure, take the filter housing off, put the new filter in, replace the housing, turn the input back on, and voila, DONE. I'm a 70 year old woman and it was easy.

    My Aquasana housing gets stuck and is impossible to turn. Would appreciate any tips to get it loosened and keep it from happening next time! Thanks!

      @@AC-sd7cw Thanks. I've already tried that. I hand tightened the casing this time; hopefully that will help.

      It should come with your system. If it didn’t call Aquasana and they will ship one to you I’m sure right away.

    How often does the filters have to be changed? How long do the blue tanks last until replacement?

    • @minaprincess3696
      @minaprincess3696 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      My representative that I bought it from at Aquasana said change prefilter every 2 months and post every 6 months. They have a program which you pay I believe is 35-40 dollars and they send you yearly filters. So I think that’s 6 prefilter and 2 post filters. And the blue tanks last depending on which one you buy. If I remember correctly at the moment they have a 600,000 gallon/6 year. And the 1 million gallon which needs to be changed every 10 years. I paid for my 10 year one for $1650. I didn’t pay for the uv filter because I didn’t feel I needed it. But I got the filter tank and softner tank.
