What happened with the last TM6 software update? (3.3.)
มุมมอง 1.2K2 ปีที่แล้ว
It’s important (like on your smartphone) to always accept new software updates when they appear on the screen. Sometimes they are just minor bug fixes or small improvements that are not very obvious. This time we actually had quite a few improvements… in this video I show you what I have discovered. Quick tip: how to change the sound duration and volume
Thank you! 🥰 I hope you didn’t get discouraged by people being rude in the comments. Only fools correct other people’s mistakes like fools to feel better than others. I appreciated your video and got the idea of the temperature control feature used to temper chocolate.
Fatal 15 minutos... en un bol tamaño huevo, agua mas vinagre, 1 minuto, bien caliente, añado el huevo, 1 minuto. Listo.
Really helpful. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing ❤
I got mine (TM6) two days ago and I love it. I have already made lemonade which was delicious, a bolognese sauce, two types of soup, and a breakfast coconut and apple granola. I also did scrambled eggs but I had problems with that, I did it for the time stated and it wasn't cooked, added another minute, then another minute, then another 2 minutes and still not cooked. In the end I transferred to a saucepan and finished it in that. Then the clean up despite the clean function was difficult, I had to take the blade out and scrub the mixing bowl so I am not sure that I would do scrambled eggs in it again. I love that I can go through the recipes and send any that I fancy trying to my recipes and from there you can add them to your week, choose a day and then you have them planned out and you can also tell it to send the ingredients to a shopping list ready for your shop. Haven't tried yet but I believe it can in some cases , ie: Tesco & Ocado in the UK, send the ingredients straight onto the website if you shop online. If you have the cookidoo app there are thousands of recipes from all over the world and you can translate them into another language, in my case english. Just love it.
These are fantastic tips, thank you so much Janny
Hei please how do you transfer the yogurt from the bol to tha yogurt box it doesnt become liquid?
Favourite soup is zucchini and bacon.
My husband uses the blend mode to make the powdered milk. He is now using the thermo to cook all his pasta. He calls himself the Pasta Master! I use the cutter for making potato bake. Brilliant.
I swear im hearing hints of South African in your accent
you are so lucky to be able to have one of these personal michelin star chef making machine wow
What do you mean make sure there are living cultures in your store bought yogurt?
I think yogurt has bacteria that’s good for you and that’s what she means
Common English phrases can often be a source of confusion, particularly for those who are learning the language. The distinction between “What It Looks Like” and “How It Looks Like” is an example of this confusion. The correct use of interrogative pronouns such as “what” for detailed descriptions and “how” for value judgments is fundamental. Understanding the rules and structures around these phrases is important for non-native speakers, and common usage is typically the best guide for correct expression.
Amm amm amm, amm amm, amm amm amm amm. Gawd. Video might be useful, but speech drove me crazy with amms after every word.
Такой вкусный никогда не пробовал
Only had my thermomix 2 weeks so this was very useful thank you.. 🏴UK
Can baking/parchment paper be used if we do not have a silicone mat?
Absolutely yes! 😊 Happy baking
TM5 - Scale problem not fixed: My friend asked me to check her TM5 as the scales were jumping up and down. I cleaned the feet, put it on a flat surface, did a Factory reset - the scale is still jumping around. The solution is to courier it to the Thermomix Service Centre Auckland from the South Island. Ouch the cost!! plus servicing and return to her.!! No Thanks -Good Cooks don't need one - Thy're just an expensive toy.
What would you suggest for cleaning off turmeric stains please?
Sunshine! Seriously all “green” stains will vanish again with a little sunshine treatment.
Does the blade cover come with the TM6?
No it’s an accessory you can get extra
Mine overflowed. Aren’t you meant to remove the cup from the lid?
Yes you are… please see my disclaimer in the description. Most of my videos were filmed and uploaded prior to these changes. Disclaimer: Vorwerk has adjusted how you cook with your Thermomix above 95C to use the simmering basket instead of the TM6 measuring cup. This video was filmed and posted before those changes have been made. Please always follow the on screen safety instructions and refer to thermomixfacts.com.au/ for further information.
Mega super! Ich bin ein subscribed Fan!
Freut mich sehr!
Hi we don't have to put any liquid in the bowl?
Yes you need to put a minimum of 500 ml of water into the bowl, plus some lemon juice. You’ll find these info/details on the info page on your tm6 screen
I she German living in Oz ?
Cooked almost to perfection but they look like shit
Wow.. passa a vedere il mio uovo poche 😋
Well thats handy.
I mean no offense to you personally, Im just browsing videos about the machine today as I have a chance to work with one next week. That being said, those are some of the worst poached eggs I've ever seen. Just plopping them into the water from a height is a warcrime.
This is FANTASTIC, effortless and works brilliantly, thank you sooo much x
You're so welcome!
Can you double recipes in the Thermomix
Thanks for this question. You can indeed scale up or down lots of the recipes as long as you stay within the maximum filling lines. Check out cookidoo.com.au for more details about scaling recipes 😊
Fillet steak and then you put it on steam cabbage 🤮
Your next video should be how to quickly and easily separate the shells from the chickpeas.
Did you add water ? Cheers
Yes, just to cover the garlic
I want to learn to make rice in the thermomix
I loved spending much of my evening watching you wonderful women prepare these wonderful dishes. I found them all on my Thermomix app I have the Thermomix six and have enjoyed this appliance for the last two years… absolutely wonderful. The only one I will have to play with is the mixed salad there are variations of this salad I will have to come back to watch exactly the salad dressing there were equal three items to make the salad dressing. At least I think so. I also thank you for sharing how to navigate on the app… before I bought my Thermomix anniversary bundle I downloaded the Thermomix app and got a good feel of it. Since that time two years later and today incredible. I am still a bit confused about obtaining the additional products.
Very pretty!
Does the blade cover just sit in or lock in? Thank you for all your information.
Hi, It sits just on top and slightly locks in. Do you have the original plastic one (I’m showing here) or the metal blade cover & peeler version? The latter locks in 😊
It does to me every once in a while. Very annoying. It wouldn't release the arms. I turn it off and unplug it with my food in the and restart it again and still wont release the arms. I tried everything I could think of.
Do you find that the long life milk makes the yoghurt taste different than when made with ordinary milk? (I ask because I dislike the taste of long life milk in tea or coffee)
Hi Jennifer, I personally don’t mind the taste of the long life milk in my yogurt … although I also don’t like to drink it pure (I prefer fresh milk in my muesli too 😉). You could give it a go and try with 1 litre only and see how you like it. If not at all you can still use it up in cooking, salad dressing or tenderise meat with it.
Thanks Janny, I bought a litre of long life milk today-before reading your message-as I thought it worth a try. So, it is encouraging to read that although you don’t like it to drink it you find it acceptable in yoghurt.. I intend to cook it this evening. @@JannyThermoCrazy
@@jeniferwinterbine3344 and how did you go?
Hangs heading embarrassment. Like the idiot I sometimes strongly resemble, I forgot that I didn’t have any yoghurt in the fridge with which to start the fermentation. Now I have to wait until I go shopping sometime late next week.@@JannyThermoCrazy
I made it at long last. It was yummy! I could, just, taste a difference from yoghurt, made with fresh milk, but I rather like the taste of that difference. I will definitely be using UTH milk in future as it is certainly quicker, and it makes a great yoghurt. That the UTH milk also lasts a lot longer than ordinary milk is a great advantage for someone like me who is all too often inclined to put doing things off until ‘tomorrow’ aka ‘next week ‘@@JannyThermoCrazy
I can’t believe there are no way to open the arms if there is a power failure. What happens if you are cooking and the machine malfunctions and it doesn’t matter if the power is on or off due to failure, you can’t release the arms I can’t believe Thermomix did not provide a way to get those arms open shipping to Thermomix back to the factory with a container full of food that is old will not be much fun. I suspect that one would take off the back grill and using a be a tool to manually open the arms. They just not telling you about it.

Lousy audio!
Hi I just tried making yogurt this way and I added some vanilla as I wanted a sweeter yogurt but I was wondering can I still use some of this batch for my next starter if it has vanilla in it?
It might be a good idea dor mr tk try these recipes first when i get my Thermomix, veey excited!
Great demo and the video is greatly appreciated.
Very useful, but it was hard for me anymore. I found the TopfTwister, it's a opening and closening aid an it's great for me
Also when using the TM6 does it make the glass hob cover shake or damage it?
Great to see it in use in a motorhome. How much energy does it take? Do you have an inverter and large batteries to power it off grid?
She should instead place the camera above to see the top
If I want the yoghurt in small jars placed in the basket and to be fermented at 40 deg Celcius, what temperature should I set in the fermentation mode? It seems too long for the milk to reach a temperature of 40C. Could you please share your experiences?
The Varoma method, either in individual jars or in a container that fits the size of the Varoma dish is very different. You can find the recipe on cookidoo. In this video I show the bowl method.
