Jas thanks for the genuine videos. I'm still dazzled by the fact that so many channels out there have Mil of views by actually NOT teaching - how to make money/ coding/data analysis... I hope ur channel will explode cuz u deserve it so much more than others. thanks for being true and genuine. Content like this is mesmerizing.
Hey good morning Jasmin, so bookworms don't like dust.. perhaps this can be the new thing I now know, I get the ethos of self development and taking it 1 step at a time. Organic changes rather then a Plastic Fantastic Life Life Overhall. Truth is the only stable foundation and with out it all else falls through. Sure people asking questions why this and why that is fair, I'd like to know if there are Gold flecks in your eyes, what colour do you like to call your eyes... Blue , Teal...your choice. Please let us not segregate wisdom as breakthroughs, advancement and innovation can happen at any point in life :) God willing Amen. It's that you said "For my Generation and the one after" #Booksmarts How do you see yourself maintaining your routing in the courting process and after mating? Comment 5 and thumbs up 55 from your heavenly brother and would like to know first hand!! and cares to share maybe new info for the day that the word "HEAVEN" adds upto 55 with the 8th letter H ; 5th letter E, A 1st; V 22nd; E 5th and N the 14th letters all adding upto 55. With the grace and for the glory of God I hope to help you see miracles. Charles Andrew Oyedele Ososami Lord of the Apocalypse in Bath England on March 17th Holy Apocalypse day 1193 in the Revelation of God. Peace
PS. Sorry, I made a mistake aka a sin, it can be seen I wrote, "How do you see yourself maintaining your routing in the courting process and after mating?" where as I thought to say How do you see yourself maintaining your ROUTINE in the courting process and after mating?... Here we have a happy accident which non of my baby momas would say #Familyplanningish Well not to go on long about the difference between why when ppl intentionally commit bad deeds how they are due punishment because they meant it and when we sin it has a punishment of our own making...we don't feel pleased making mistakes... it is like we have staked our self...accidently lol Ok new question, what food are you lightly to have today and what food would you like to have on your birthday... Happy birthday #whenever. Please not, should you reply you may be addressed and not limited to these terms of endearment Golds, Goldy, Golden-eye. ok Shnukums xx
I love how "call mum" is on your bonus list for things to do! So sweet. I'm currently working and plan to transition into law school in the next few years, I'm 24yo. I want to make sure I have a good idea of of what to expect. Did you take out loans to go to school?
but when are u studying? how about exams?
Correction: ANYONE can obtain a postgraduate work visa after completing their education in Australia - NOT just Europeans. 2 years if you complete a Bachelor course; 3 years if you complete a Masters course, and 4 years if you complete a PhD.
I’m so happy that I came across your page. I’ve just signed up for the Business scheme and I’m so excited about it. I will rewatch your video because it’s almost 2am in the morning 😊.

Loved this! You're literally the best inspiration for motivation 👏👏
wow thank you so much Sophie! Glad you liked this short little vid x
Hey there! How can I get past questions please?
Hey most uni's have past papers that you can access. If not I suggest the Oxford law Q/A book (they cover all different topics of law) that gives you questions and suggested answers.
@@soph9141 thanks soph
That’s exactly how I felt after being kicked out of the UK. Life goes on. Went to Australia, now back in New Zealand. Your young, you’ll survive you will move on.
Hi there Is there any firms to provide funding for SQE exams? So if yes! Should I apply for this online? And what route you reckon is the shortest way to qualify as solicitor in terms of LPC and SQE ? Your reply will be much appreciated My name is abdul, second year law student
Thank you for the energy hehe :)))
You are welcome, hope it sees you through the rest of the day😂

Hi Jasmin I am a first year law undergraduate at the University of Oxford Just wondering if there are any tips you have regarding securing internships Thanks!
Hi! Absolutely, I have two videos on my channel already regarding internships, it’s the Bright Network and Legal Cheek one. I share my tips in both! Best of luck
Hi Jasmin! I am currently a first year law student at the University of Oxford. Wondering if you could give me any tips on how to bag an internship? Thank you!
thanks for this! the guilt of spending more time on applications kills me so badly. it's hard to balance vac scheme applications with second year of law. sighhhh. thanks thanks !!! only uk law students can relate to this hahahahaha
100% !!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, I knew more people would be feeling the same so I had to share!
love this! :)
Yay I'm so pleased!
Great video!! Thank you! Needed this in my life so much haha; my schedule and way of doing things change every week but I really hope I'll become even more organised, just like you are. Wish you best of luck!! :)
Thank you so much! Part 2 is more on organisation and planning so stay tuned for that one
Hey jasmin! I find your videos very informative, I'm actually a recent Law graduate but I lean more towards Criminal law. I want to widen my Commercial law knowledge and was wondering what news or articles you read to keep up your commercial awareness. Thank you!
Hey Annan! Thanks so much- I read the lawyer, HBR, FT, lexology or a few instagrammers news updates such as legally possible. (Note- I don't read all at once, but these are my go to!)
Awesome place! Check our trip on the island th-cam.com/video/eC9R1YVct1U/w-d-xo.html
Hey! Great video! I’m going into my 2nd year of a non-law degree. I’m a bit confused about the SQE and have a few questions... 1) when would I take the SQE? (I.e. a year after graduating, a matter of months after I graduate, a few years?)? 2) Because the SQE is simply just exams, is there an additional course we’d have to take in preparation (at a further cost no doubt!)? 3) And does the work experience have to be in the form of actual jobs, as opposed to training schemes? Would appreciate if anyone can help answer my questions because I’m super confused about the whole SQE process 😂 Also, 4) as a 2nd year non-law undergrad, I’m assuming the older process (GDL/LPC/training contract) route isn’t going to be an option for me anymore?
these are all amazing questions! hope someone can answer these :)
can I do the work experience during or before uni, if yes do I need to ask my work experience provider to give me a proper documents saying i have done so so months of work experience?
Yes you can do your QWE during university, as long as the organisation your are completing your experience with is recognised as complying with the SRA rules. There is not a minimum time period for completing the work experience either, just as long as you complete it within the 2 year period and have a strong portfolio almost of all of the ways in which you have met the competencies.
Will you have to do a training contract after you have completed all of these steps? Are law firms still going to offer students tcs during university and if so, will they decide the order you do everything? Any reply would be much appreciated.
Great content!! Keep it up Jasmin!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it :)
To pass the SQE1 you will need a legal foundation, so it's not a fair to say someone who goes through a non-law degree route doesn't have a legal background as you cannot learn the content overnight. Even with the multiple choice exams, they are closed book and most/all of the options are feasible answers but only one is correct from the sample questions I've seen.
My concern when filming was that they may not be as fully prepped as possible which would be unfair. Correct you will need to complete prior learning to the SQE 1 exam, these will come in the form of prep courses which there is yet to be more information on. Yes I believe they are currently reworking the exams after having conducted a test run on them which indicated that they were not challenging enough
that is actually sooo true...
How old r u all? and ur so lucky my comp season was meant to start in March but all comps got cancelled until December :(
Great tips Jasmin! Was thinking about how to talk about my bright network internship experience at an interview and this video has been really helpful!
This has made my day! I'm so glad you found it useful and good luck in your applications!
Which uni are you reading law at?
hi~I'm a law student from China who studies British law cuz I’m in a cooperative project between the southwest university of political science and law in China and the University of Sussex in England which means I study in China for two years and in England for another two years. So my dream is to be a solicitor there. Do you think it is necessary or possible for a Chinese to obtain the solicitor certificate in England?
Hello, I'm afraid I do not have the knowledge to answer on a question regarding multi- jurisdiction qualification. It sounds like an excellent/ exciting opportunity so I would consider getting in touch with the post graduate courses over here in England such as ULAW and BPP to hear what advice they can provide!
Such a good video! A lot of people are so confused about this right now so will definitely appreciate this :)
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I wish you could make more of how to organise your notes videos. They help a lot.
