Going to America as an exchange student is my dream, but I’m from the UK aged 13, so if I do an exchange next year I miss to much class Information and I’m the years after that aswell I have GCSES and A levels so I can’t go. I’m hoping to go and do a 2 week exchange with my best bc tuend to america next year. Does anybody know how to do this?

German Kid : Wake up at 6:15 am Realschule Take the bus at 7 am 10 Grade Arriving at 7:40 am at school School starts at 7:50 Now i have 6 subjects each 45 mins: Maths German Phisiks --- Break 25mins --- politics English Religion School ends at 12:45pm On some days I have the afternoon school --- Afternoon break 45 mins --- Than i have EG ( were i have to cook) EG EG School ends at 4 pm Beeing home at 4:30 pm Than i take a nap Standing up at 6pm Driving to Handball training takes 30min Handball training starts at 7:30 pm Handball training ends at 8:30 pm Driving home and beeing home at 9pm Starting to learn for the next subjects/ exams to 11:30 pm Going to bed at 12 am good night💤 -A german day

So I’m in Australia yeah? And the high here is from grade 7 (we call it year 7) till grade 12 (we call it year 12). And we usually have 4 periods a day with 2 breaks. You’re allowed to do whatever you want in the breaks. And 1 period is for like 1h 30m usually. Other than the occasional “vaping” here (it has started to decrease), Australian high school is quite fun.

i have 4 1;25 min classes, a 15 min break, 30 min lunch and 3 5 min passing, yall will survive

Guys she has block schedule which means she has 3 classes a day but they are longer each day is a different 3 classes so each class gets the same amount of time.

Having classes be 2 hours long each is crazy. You could could have so many more classes and learn a lot more if you only do them for about an hour or 45 min

In Germany one class is 45 minutes long. In Highschool however you would always have block sessions, which makes 90 minutes per class. On a regular school day I had 4 classes, starting at 7:35am and finishing at 2:45pm on rare occasions I had 3 classes and on others I had 5, finishing at 4:30pm
