All of the older neighborhoods are starting to get rentals and those rentals are filling up with families from Montgomery that want to get their kids away from Montgomery’s crime. Well, a crowd draws a crowd, so now you have normal families as well as ghetto families filling Prattville at a rapid rate. Prattville is an elegant town with lots of charm. I’ve live here for a long time and it’s not what it used to be. It won’t be long before there are weekly shootings.

Vehicle break-ins, reckless driving and leftover food containers in parking lots have gone through the roof. Prattville is not what it used to be. It used to be a quiet crime free town in which earned a title of “The Preferred Community”.

@CoCoDominici The fact that you can take a day trip to a major city, and not have to pay the prices of a major city is a huge plus. We got to Atlanta several times a year bc its just nice to have the convenience. Have you gone to any professional sports events in Atlanta?

😂 yeah we do have snakes 🐍but I’ve never had any trouble and I’m outdoors a lot hunting and fishing …not sure if there are more or less than other places

Great question! Thanks for asking. We have public transportation for sure but I would definitely check The M Yransit website for schedules and maps of routes before you decide you need a car or not . Here it is: themtransit.com/

Great question. Some homes in Montgomery are on slabs and some are on crawl spaces. Mostly depends on when they were built but we have a couple of newer neighborhoods where they’re built on a crawl space
