Razorback SS-394, another Balao class boat which you can visit today in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She's still intact without the visitor's access cut into the hull like with the Pampanito you see clearly at the end of the film. In fact, if it wasn't for the propellers having been removed and torpedo tubes being Demilled, she'd still be considered operational! I think they chose Pampanito because she was clearly a WWII style boat... and the Razorback was still in service with the Turkish Navy as the T.C.G. Muratreis S-336...
