Just found this channel and subscribed straightaway! I’ve started home ed my 5 year old this year and the good and the beautiful seem to be what I need! But when I was trying to place my order delivery says 75$, do you happen to know if any ways to reduce the costs? The delivery price really makes a big difference 😢😭

Thank you! I purchased mine 🎉. It's my first year of homeschooling. My son was in Pre-K 3 public school. Due to the school district not providing therapies that my son needs for developmental delays, my husband and I decided to homeschool for at least this year.

I'm so surprised AO recommends Trial and Triumph for Year 1. I just read it to my Form 2 kids and it's very graphic and intense.

I love the idea of student planners, I’d love to see a more detailed look at the school nest one and how you set them up. I love curriculum picks videos, especially when UK based. Speaking of inventing the telephone, it's not who you think. It's actually Antonio Meucci. This is the sort of thing you can learn alongside your child while home educating! Because you have choices and can reference various curricula and perspectives and the most up to date content. Great video!

thank you for this video! my kids and i love to read at night. do you think that reading these chapters at night instead of before the lesson each day will throw off the lesson itself? or can the readers be used at night without throwing off the lesson to where it doesn't make sense?

I love The Good and the Beautiful curriculum and use them with my children, for money on Amazon Humble Math do a great book that has a large money section in it and its very inexpensive :) x

How long are her videos each day?

Im all about stories with good morals. A lot of early chapter books, the characters are so sassy and i dont think that's good for kids. I don't mind a silly book if it gets my daughter to read. She's gonna be 6 in a couple months and she LOVES the Princess in Black series. We're not a fan of diary or comic style books. I feel like its easier to get into the storyline when its in story format and not just dialogue/speech bubble.
