Hey Huck, I've been keeping an eye on your TH-cam for some time now, and it's been a long while since your last video. As much as I hope that you've been distracted by other exciting things, I do worry that you have passed on. I just want to stop and tell you it's been a joy listening to you all these years, hearing your many insights, and getting to know your story. You're an incredibly brave person, continuing to fight on jovially even when the cards were stacked against you. I only hope you knew how appreciated you were by those of us subscribed across the world. If you're no longer with us, rest in peace my friend. Thank you, and God be with you.

The abortion regulations are controversial and I have mixed feelings about it. All I can say is I am glad I'm old but I do have grandchildren who will be affected. A point I attempted to make, but got off'-track, was that no one is told which strain of the virus they have. Doctors, hospitals and pharmacists will tell you they don't know. So who is coming up with the data reporting XBB makes up 40 percent or 60 percent of all cases?

Thanks for updating us with your situation now. It sounds like you are starting to improve. Hopefully physical therapy will help you get your strength back! I think Dustin deserves the best! He is awesome! I hope your bronchoscopy goes well and you get to reduce your prednisone some more. And I hope all the gifts make it there before Christmas! This is good news and I am glad you have the good sense and intelligence to handle the many details of your care and Dustin as well. I was an LPN once upon a time so I have an idea of what you will need to do. (all of a previous lifetime I gave up 27 years ago) Wipe the port with alcohol wipe and wait a few seconds to dry before inserting the needle (otherwise it will burn but it isn't dangerous if it does...just uncomfortable for a short time). Being clean at the junction is most important! By the way, I live in Crawford County PA but don't have a car. I'm not too far from you. You are in my prayers 🙏.

My partner has CMV/HCMV as well. It's a very common virus and most ppl never even know they have it. It's in like 80% of the world population. However, it's deadly for ppl with transplants - like you and my partner. It nearly killed him a couple years ago. I had to drag his ass to the hospital cuz he was stubbornly refusing to go.
