Just got back into WoW I’m a veteran started playing in ‘04 quit in ‘17 I am going to save the names of the add ons for my somewhat “fresh new start” I subbed by the way I’m hunting for good add ons wish we had an add on that changes the HUD/UI to old school wow! But thank you for helping not just me but others who are seeking great add ons

I hate this logic. Night Elves havent failed to become Shamans, they have just become something different. It's boring if every race is the same as all the others. Its also like saying why cant Warriors use stealth, surely its possible right?

Problem is Nelfs are too hippie and too dumb for shamanism. They only care about plants and life, not the elements. In wow those are pretty different branches of magic.

I completely agree with you! Some of the Race & Class Combos make absolutely no sense at all! I was wanting a Tauren Rogue for more than a decade and then... BAM! Blizz added Rogue Class to the Tauren, I was so happy! I know what you're thinking though, there's absolutely nothing sneaky or stealthy about hooves, I know right?!? Another couple Races that I want Blizz to add is Eredar as their own separate Race and also Broken too! I want a Broken Rogue & Shaman, and a Eredar Mage, Warlock or Death Knight! Also the Ogre would be another awesome playable Race, we could switch between One-Headed or Two-Headed Options and customize each head independently and have one head with hair and the other head bald with a horn or something and the Transmogs could have two independent head options just like shoulders can be picked for each shoulder, heads need to be down the same way, equip two different head Transmogs and equip two different styles or one head with a helm and the other without if you prefer! But to prevent cheating in game, the single Character headslot would equip the same item to both heads, but then you would need to Transmog them to change them or hide them! Because alliance needs everything horde has, but besides that druids can shoot lightning. If night elves can be shaman then undead should be able to be paladins or anything from their past living life

You should try WOW ascension, google classless WOW and try it out.

I totally feel you, though my problem is different. I want to be able to play as nightborne druid as it is the coolest looking cat in game. And the only way is to be in Suramar city and have the disguise on. I have tried all other possible ways and none work.. :le_sigh:

there is good reason in the lore that night elves couldn't be shaman. Their study and connection to magic was arcane magic via the well of eternity. Which classes are connected to arcane magic? Mage and Druid. Which class's connection to magic has nothing to do with arcane? Shaman. Also Shaman is historically an Orc practice (before they were corrupted by the Fel). Draenai as well as they are from the same world as the Orcs. The orcs taught the trolls about shamanism.

Similarly it drove me insane how Undead have no archer class. THEIR LEADER IS A DARK RANGER COME ON NOW. When the game launched in 2004 I played a rogue and was so disappointed when I got "Shoot Bow" and realized it sucked and I was a melee class. They did finally add Undead Hunters. And it was awesome.

Wasn't interested in Dragonflight or the War Within. I'm not buying the expansion to get more bronze tokens. What a disappointment

Sweetheart I feel you 20 years of the game and these things still piss me off. Launch - human can’t be a hunter wtf? Thank god for paladin Night elves - can be druids, priests, rogue, and hunters… but no Shamie? TBC - blood elves are pallies, but not Shamie or druids And just a long list of stupid crap

Shaman is incompatible with the worship of Elune. Locks are Mages that experiment with Fel. Goblin Shaman are BS af

ive been horde sc 2010. i started as ally in '07. i am still salty that NE locks exist

Rubbing salt in the wound; Naga are former Nightelves ... Also pretty sure the reason Goblins can be Shamans is because they literally force Elementals into semi slavecontracts.

I can understand that very well. I tend to stop playing for weeks whenever I decide to play a new character. Because I cannot decide on a class-race-combo. 🙄

0:18 For 20 years now... twenty years, two decades, all bears in the game have been able to parry attacks using their claws. Fel bears, corrupted bears, infected bears, plague bears, black bears, brown bears even hunter tamed bears: ALL BEARS - for 20 years - have been able to parry attacks using their claws... but not Druids in bear form...

Totally outdated lore here, after the sundering NElfs stopped using any magic outside of light/nature as a culture. Doesn't hold up anymore with modern lore but that's why mages weren't playable as NElfs either until modern

Agree, so many of these cooldowns make no sense at all, like... who comes up with these cd's and duration timers...

'Capping' If you enjoy pvp BG's, it give you timers for various things, you can even link a timer in chat so everyone else know if there's an issue to be addressed, I have quite a few addons, but Capping is one that I'd personally consider essential.

I 100% agree with you I think it is stupid as ive always wanted to play a human demon hunter but apparently it doesn't go with the lore which I find stupid, idc about the class lore's, I just want to play what I want to play as. anyways great video you've warned a sub from me :)
