Hello! We are tourists not from Canada. We live in a hotel in Ottawa. Today We rested in this park with two small children and were very disappointed! We arrived at the park on Uber. When the park closed Uber did not offer cars. We went to the information desk and asked to call a taxi. The girl told us that they do not have a phone and she cannot call us a taxi. Said call yourself. We told her that we only have a cell phone from another country and we do not understand English very well. She answered the same thing - I can't help you with anything. We asked her for the third time to help call a Taxi and call the manager. After that, she rudely wrote the phone number of the Taxi company on paper and said go to the forest and call a taxi there. It was getting dark, the children were scared! This park does not have a taxi stop and a taxi can only drive up to the main entrance to the park 300 meters away and this is already in the forest. We tried to call a taxi but it never arrived. The weather began to deteriorate, a thunderstorm, rain and strong wind began. We called the police and asked for help. The police arrived in 20 minutes in two cars and brought a taxi car with them. THANKS TO THE CANADIAN POLICE !!! We travel to different countries and we have never met such an attitude of people towards people, especially tourists from another country. It is impossible to imagine in what country it would be possible ???? !! This girl from the information stand is her personal attitude to people, clients, foreigners ??? Or is it a park that applies to its customers ??? I think no! This girl presented the people of such a beautiful country of Canada in a bad light. We believe this girl is not the place to work with people, especially at the information desk, where people are looking for help. She needs to be fired from this job. Who does he think?
