Great talk guys. So much effort goes into unnecessary marketing...
I would add - discussing things with your neighbor.

Jobber parts for a house are arguably worse than jobber parts for your car

I heard about Honda was going outta the business 8 /24 . Sooooo I went to Do Cut , Warren Ohio. They still have some left. I got the bottom of the plastic deak line for $ 850 . They had all of the models. If I really needed it I would like to have gotten the hydraulic drive 😅 . Lifetime deck warranty 5 years parts and labor from Honda. I got the dealership 2 year extension warranty . I have had excellent luck with Honda products 😊
Aren't you an actor? I feel like ive seen you in something
Great tip about the voice recording/dictation
Honda mowers, as well as Honda cars were living on past reputations.
Great show guys,
Great show guys,
I had the HRX 216 VKA for 16 years. Still was running well. Took care of it. Loved the KEY START. Wanted to update in 2020 and it didn't happen. Things change in life. I got tired of the struggle of loading this to take for service (even using a ramp). Too heavy. I bought a Stihl mower 460V. Self propelled. LOVE IT! Made in VA Beach and battery in the US. Honda let many people down. AND DID YOU KNOW HONDA IS MAKING A BATTERY MOWER OVERSEAS, THE HRG 466. People mention having to buy a battery -- well you have to buy a battery for your vehicle. So disappointed with Honda I wouldn't eve buy their battery mower now.
Cheap and easy, have several, use it all the time.
Discount code didn't work with the Mity #1000. It didn't work last interview either. Maybe only the smaller master sets?
Wow! What exhaustive knowledge you guys cover.
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@handymanprosradioshow1600 Not surprised. Always thought these mowers were toys. Buy a Toro or a Jacobsen (who unfortunately went out of the retail business, which Toro may also do). Maybe Brigs could bring Snapper back.
@@handymanprosradioshow1600 you want really honda mowers with camshaft in plastic pvc if you don’t understand then after become disposables forever ♾ not can anymore came back how was before

thanks for the video!
Sure thing! Thanks for watching
Ive settled on two 5x8's: one closed, one open. Probably use the open 3/4 of the time as it's easier to get stuff in and out of. My tools all fit in my SUV, so it's mostly debris hauling just like you'd mentioned 😅 Good show. If you do a show dedicated to trailers and make a snazzy title, I'm sure it would be big. See you next week!
That's a great idea!
New Hondas suck. No more easy start!
Guys thanks for the tips and for the shout out of the Professional Handyman Facebook group. Your episode with Matt Jackson was great ; he's a good guy. I'm a handyman/small contractor and I'd love to hear what you have to say about storing and carrying your tools! A "minor" repair might require carpentry tools, saws, drywall tools, paint equipment, hand tools, vacuum, etc. It's a pain in my...back 🙄 I'm enjoying the radio show. I'd venture here's a huge demand for content that people could listen to while working 😉
Thanks for the comment - I like your idea here. Carrying different tools for the various jobs is a pain. I have my system that I use, and it seems to work for me. Just knowing what job I'm going to helps me know what tools to pack up. I use separate boxes with those specific tools. I know there is a lot more here and we will address on an upcoming show. THANKS!
Good discussion. I take cash and check for all amounts and offer a 5% discount. Credit cards payments are done through my credit union business account via Autobooks, and they charge 3%. Haven't been paid via an app yet, but I'm set up for it though.
Thanks for listening and good luck in your business!
One of the best software, if you have creativity you can do what ever you want to,you can do with this software.
Amazing stuff for the price- free.
An abandoned job, like the unfinished drywall, is a definite red flag 👍🏻

Got batteries for Christmas! I think my wife watched your show. I'll have to try that power shroom for drains.
Happy holidays mi amigos! Wishing you both energy & vigor for 2024!
Thanks!! You too
Didn't think much of this until I walked through the shop and started counting. 😮
Worth buying good quality. Cheap ones twist the bit almost immediately.
Yes - that is true. Matter of fact we are doing a review on some very high quality screw driver tools soon. Stay tuned and thanks for watching
Also handy for running wires through nylon sheathing.
Cordless brad nailer is also a must have
Thank you. We are glad you enjoy the show!!
Good tips, guys. I enjoy your show!
Thanks for watching!!
Looking through your gift guide shorts. If you buy them a car, since it qualifies as a cordless tool, should you get them a couple of spare batteries with it?
Total game changer!
Thanks for this nice review. I'm happy you liked Sweet Home 3D :)

You mentioned hot water heaters. How often should you replace the anode? Are they zinc or aluminum? All 3/4"?
Hi Dave. This is a very good question and one we did not address. It depends on the amount of water moving through that tank. I use to replace it every 5 yrs or so. Helps with slowing the corrosion inside the tank. Thanks!
