I don't exactly agree with free grace and Lordship salvation. I see them both leaning towards extremes. I believe in turning from and turning to. Repentance and Faith. Turning from sin and dead works to the Lord Jesus Christ alone for salvation. In the Bibles I read By grace through faith NOT free grace Lord and Savior Jesus Christ NOT Lordship salvation

The nun Mary you say, "she had genuine trust of Jesus in her heart her whole contenance and conversation day after day were witness to that". How can someone who thinks they will go to pergatory have genuine grust in Jesus. Someone who actually has genuine trust in Jesus, will reject the notion of Pergatory because they believe that Jesus actually paid the price for all of their sins. The thought of a person atoning for their own sins in Pergatory is repulsive to a true believer. Absolutely repulsive! Mary the nun needed to be evangelized and called out of Roman Catholicism, not promoted as a true believer.

You are committing a lot of fallacies in your arguments. You claimed ‘to make the argument about the logic of Salvation requiring a divine Savior.’ Jesus in the synoptic gospels did not teach that at all. He stressed that ethical behavior is the way to salvation and to pleasing god. Your claim is baseless. There is no need for a divine savior in the gospels.

It’s actually the works Salvationists that have the license to sin. They will tell YOU that you must turn from your sins to be saved, yet they haven’t even done it themselves! You can ask them “Have YOU turned from all of your sins?” And they will tell you “well no, but I always repent the moment I sin” , as if that automatically makes them good to go lol. So in reality they are giving themselves a license to sin because they can just automatically “repent” the moment they sin etc.. The truth is that nobody has, or ever will be able to turn from all of their sins while we live in this body of flesh. So salvation has NOTHING to do with turning from sin, which IS WORKS btw, but it has to do with changing your mind from unbelief to belief in Jesus Christ as your savior. Believing the Gospel is what saves a person.

Seems to me all these guys are confused about who the judge (the justifier) is. Since the time of Jesus, who is the new ruling king under a new system of governance, the judge who declares eternal life or death is Jesus. God the Father gave all authority over to Jesus to judge (Jn 5:22). Since the time of Jesus, there's no issue of the Father judging (justifying) anything. If Jesus knows you and sees you as an faithful servant-friend of His, you're good to go. The Father accepts whoever the Son so declares. And, since Jesus is the judge, how well you have walked with Him matters (1Jn 2:6, e.g.), at least from some point in time. If badly, you can expect a 'Depart from me, I never knew you.'

As someone who is interested in and studies ancient Judaism, I can appreciate New Perspective scholars' research into the area of Second Temple Judaism and its varying theologies pertaining to salvation and covenants, but I think they reach the wrong conclusions, or, at the very least, they reach conclusions that are at odds with historical Protestant soteriology. However, my biggest problem with the New Perspective is that its proponents are, without exception, advocates of supersessionism. In that sense, the New Perspective is actually no different than the supersessionism that we find among Catholicism, the Reformed tradition, and mainline Protestantism. Supersessionism in any form is not the right way forward.

I thought OT was a heresy because 99% of the people I heard explain it, explained it wrong. They make a general blanket statement, a strawman, God cannot know any future choices that is not the case. question is, can God make a free choice, change his mind Interact with his image bearers?? More importantly, can he do something that mortal men say he can’t, give his image bearers the ability to openly interact in relation to their creator. Many mortal men say no, and they go on saying that opposers to their view, try to thwart gods sovereign will. Purposely confusing the point of contention indicates classical theists don’t seem to have a real rebuttal.

A human can be it for with the blackness of darkness is reserved forever. Jude, 1:13 for which the blackness of darkness has been reserved forever. @1:08 2 TIMOTHY 2:15-16 *Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.* *16But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.* Why explain what the Greek word means? I am reading an ENGLISH BIBLE. Which Greek lexicon did you use, and which Greek text? Why pay Phoenix seminary thousands of dollars when I can do what Timothy did? 2 TIMOTHY 3:13 *But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.* 14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15And that from a child thou hast known *the holy scriptures,* which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. *16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.* Strange that no seminary is mentioned; neither scribes, chief priests, councils or schools. It is also noteworthy that warnings about profane and vain babblings, and evil men and seducers are included with these passages.

NT Wright and his ilk have really no idea of the true meaning of the gospel, they used their intellect to discover God, they have no experience of the Holy Spirit, for if they know they wouldn't have strayed so they can make a couple of bucks. The devil will use men like this, not stupid men, but smart ones, to subvert the gospel to leave God's people confused and astray. Spiritual truths are spiritually discerned, praise God! They will have their reward!!!

UNITY OF YAHWEH VERSUS THE TRINITY Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: 5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. Deuteronomy 6:4 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. Isaiah 44:6 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Isaiah 42:8 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. John 17:5 1 Chronicles 17:13-16 He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever. 14 I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men: 15 But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee. 16 And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever. GENTILES IN THE LAST DAYS O Lord, my strength and my fortress, My refuge in the day of affliction, The Gentiles shall come to You From the ends of the earth and say, "Surely our fathers have inherited lies, Worthlessness and unprofitable things." Jeremiah 16:19 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you." Zechariah 8:23 Ask yourself this question: “is it reasonable to use New Testament writings that clearly contradicts Hebrew Scripture and deduce that the New Testament is true?” For the most part, the writers of the New Test ament are UNKNOWN. There is no verifiable authorship; that is why the Church Fathers added “according to Matthew, according to Mark according to Luke and according to John.” You assume that no one could see God because the New Testament says so. It is WRONG. The Tanakh clearly contradicts that. In Genesis 18, Yahweh ate a meal with Abraham. In Exodus 33, Moses saw the backside of God but not his face. Jacob declared that he saw God face to face. “And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.” Genesis 32:30. Furthermore Moses told Israel to bury their faeces so that when Yahweh walked through the camp at night, he would not see it. “12 Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad: 13 And thou shalt have a paddle upon thy weapon; and it shall be, when thou wilt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee: 14 For the Lord thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean [1] thing in thee, and turn away from thee.” Deuteronomy 23:12-14 Throughout the Tanakh, there is no concept of God being a spirit. That is a New Testament invention that occurred with Jesus with the Samaritan woman at the Sychar well. “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” John 4:24. Again, this contradicts the Tanakh. You are using New Testament writings that that contradict the Hebrew Scripture and claiming that these writings are scripture. Really? Why complain about the Book of Mormon or the Quran that contract the New Testament? How much clearer can Yahweh make that he is the only God? “I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:” Isaiah 45:5 “8 Remember this, and shew yourselves men: bring it again to mind, O ye transgressors. 9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,” Isaiah 46:9-10 “6 Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.” Isaiah 44:6 Even in John, Jesus states that YAHWEH is the ONLY TRUE GOD.

The simplicity of saving faith is what's so "difficult" about it. You either BELIEVE the gospel or you don't. You cannot believe in something you've never heard and do not understand. Belief is repentance. Metanoia (repentance) "simply" means to change your mind (from unbelief to belief). Salvation is a discovery, not a decision. The very first thing men want to do is make faith a work. One hears the gospel (maybe many times) and discovers they believe it. Saving faith is a gift from God. It's the only "proof" that you've been born from above. "Which were BORN, not of blood, nor of THE WILL of the flesh, nor of THE WILL of man, but of GOD." We are free! However, with freedom comes responsibility. Your Father will discipline you to the measure you abuse your freedom in this life. Not the next. You CANNOT be un-born! The absolute sovereignty of God is the most assuring doctrine of salvation there is. Not one's performance.

If a person read the bible and denied 'the righteous' are God’s people (Ps 14.5-7; 94.14-15; 125.2-3; Lk 1.75-77; cf. Ps 106.3-5; Isa 26.7-11; 32.16-18; 56.1-3; 60.20-21), God’s nation (Ps 33.1,12; Isa 26.2; 58.1-2; cf. Je 31:23), God’s servants (Ps 34.21-22; Mal 3.17-18), or God’s saints (Ps 31.18,23; 37.27-31; 97.10-12; Rev 19.8) I would say something was not Wright with them. The connotative meaning of being righteous understood by the first century audience was being one of God's people, one of his children (1 Jn 3.10; Mt 13.43). How does counting Abraham 'righteous' by faith make him our 'father' unless there is some sort of kinship affiliation going on here with what it means to be righteous? (Rom 4.11).

The Problem with The 21st Century Understanding of Salvation (Soteriology) is that we have misunderstood The Gospel Jesus himself Preached! Mark 1 vs. 14 & 15 KJV clearly states The Gospel Jesus Preached. And we see clearly that In all of The Synoptic Gospels Jesus is Going about Proclaiming The Gospel/Good News (Euanggelion -Greek) That God's Kingdom has come upon This World and has been brought near to all humankind! So The Gospel That Messiah Jesus Preached is That God's Spiritual Kingdom has been brought into our World and All humans are being invited to become a part of it. And Jesus teaches us that The Right Response to This Gospel of The Kingdom is 1. Repentance (Changing The Way we think) and 2. Believing that God's Spiritual Kingdom has really been brought into our world by his Son Messiah Jesus. The Gospel Jesus Preached in Matt Mark Luke and John Was and is The Gospel of The Kingdom of God. And it is This same Gospel That Christ The King Commands us to preach in His Great Commision. Note Carefully That Jesus had a Gospel he was consitently Preaching before his death and resurrection And This is The Same Gospel that The Apostles Preached and all The disciples of Christ are commanded to Preach. We need to go back to reading The Scriptures in The Context of The 1st Century not in The light of a 21st Century Worldview. I love both Prof Grudem and Prof Wright (But Wright is more exegetically consistent on the matter) However in regards to the Matter of Justification in Romans What is being imputed as righteousness is that faith is being imputed as righteousness. Apostle Paul is saying that God is counting our faith in Christ as righteousness) Let us not confuse imputation with impartation or imputation with declaration. Kind Regards and Shalom

So Jesus both knew everything and little (as a man.) This is having your cake (following scripture) and eating it too (man's theology). Keep in mind that Jesus emptied Himself. Philippians 2:6 who, existing in the form of God, didn’t consider equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men. Then we have this annoying verse: Hebrews 2:7 You made him a little lower than the angels. You crowned him with glory and honor. Then, the final insult: 2 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, So, in order to die for mankind, He had to become a man. The Second part of the Godhead stripped away his Godly powers and brought only Himself to the human body. His person, Himself. And lived as a man. How did Jesus perform miracles? Know the hearts of men? John 3:34 For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for God gives the Spirit without measure. So we can see that Jesus received His supernatural knowledge and power from the Holy Spirit. Jesus was able at any time to take back His power as was apparent when Satan tempted Him (turn that stone into bread). But Jesus lived a life of humility and obedience and holiness.

Interesting take on God's immutability. I like the idea that God is always God. Amen. I would differ in what God repenting is though. God does not repent as a man does. IE man repents when he made a mistake or sins. God repents in response to man's free will. Your saying God repenting is just Him performing a new act sounds good and all. But it flies in the face of the obvious meaning of the Scripture. Genesis 6:5 Yahweh saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of man’s heart was continually only evil. 6 Yahweh was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him in his heart. 7 Yahweh said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the surface of the ground-man, along with animals, creeping things, and birds of the sky-for I am sorry that I have made them.”

Just the opposite. The musings of Plato et al are contrary to what the Bible teaches and forces you to approach scripture with a bias. For instance, Greek mysticism teaches that human souls live forever. This forces one to ignore the very simple and literal teachings of Jesus. IE Matthew 10:28 Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.

@@ruthtirado2750 I'm neither homosexual, neither was I brutally abused like other millions of people by christian parents. Some others around me weren't so lucky tho. Moreover, this is a well studied psychological phenomena of new-born christians. A textbook example.

The Bible is what judges us in the end. The Word of God is the final say, whether you like it or not. Try living the Bible, and you will find yourself actually happy and truly fulfilled! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

@@ruthtirado2750 People kill themselves trying to "live the bible" and going to conversion therapy only to end up miserable. I hope you get judged by promoting these evil views

Why, what have you done to your kids ? I hope this doesn’t mean what I think it does. If you’ve put your kids through conversion therapy or anything of that ilk then you absolutely should feel extremely guilty for damaging your child’s life.

If you abused your kids and renounced them / banished them from home as those terrible abusive parents of Yuan, you should definitely feel guilt

So with all the “miracles healings” in thousands of FILMED “healing” conferences, all over the world… not one single visible healing… that’s a coincidence? If you believe that I got some ocean front property to sell you in Arizona! Jesus & the Apostles did VISIBLE healings as well… not just “stomach pain”, “back pain”, mental illness, and invisible diseases, etc

Good stuff! This is what mainline Pentecostals have always done.
