Way better than U2, in those times. At least we can hear a melody on guitar other than two or three repeatitive notes treated with phasers and delays. Too bad for the singer's suffocated voice.

Big Country at this stage were A+---why the press in America didn't laud them on all the magazines and support them in the big venues is hard to understand--unless their Scottish Nationalism scared the money lords.

The bass/drum lockdown is insane on this live performance... This is one of favorite tunes by them. They are one of the most underrated bands ever. Every member was vital to their epic sound.

This song was pretty much ignored in the punk days ..look at how popular it is nowadays..same can be said for a lot of punk songs ..certain people thought punk was just about 1 chord wonders and noise ..people are so ignorant of talent 👏

Best live version of this song out there

Saw them at Leicester University in 1992 and again just over week ago at the Halloween Town Festival in Bedford. Nearly 30 years between both gigs but both were bloody awesome.

Best band ive seen live ever

I wish someone would put this cleaned up on DVD, quite possibly the best tour they ever did. Hammersmith Odeon the balconies were quite literally bouncing up & down, what a gig.

The guitar at 4.05 gives me goosebumps. Love this video of this amazing song. R.I.P Stuart Adamson you beautiful soul ❤
