I don't know how many Marines know about Reckless today, but I can guarantee every Marine that does has a very special place in their heart for her. People today are starting to think Reckless is of the Korean Jeju breed. Like the men that earn the title Marine this small Korean horse is the Marine breed. She is without a doubt a United States Marine.

Wow, so exciting to see the Clydesdales day in the life video. We were so excited and grateful to see them at our Topsfield Fair in Topsfield, Massacusetts this past week (9/10/24). Since then, I've been eager to learn more about these beautiful horses, and found many informative videos on TH-cam.

This shows that the Belgian horse is awesome!! I always liked them.

My grandfather humanly 😅pulled Belgiums and my family has continued that history. They are amazing. Must be valued and Loved!

Back in the 50's, the Wilson Packing Company (The Wilson Label Protects Your Table), of Cedar Rapids, Iowa maintained a six-horse hitch that toured the United States. My dad was an award-winning salesman for Wilson. In recognition of his sales achievements the hitch was sent to our hometown to tour the city and visit his customer's store locations. As a ten-year old I was excited when he gave me the list of the stores to be visited. I was even more excited when I was invited to ride on the wagon next to the Dalmation and give the driver directions. Quite a thrill for a 10 year old....

I know and watched Dick and Lollie Ames, both now deceased, show Arabian horses in Scottsdale and the Percheron at the National Western Stockshow in Denver. They always had the finest horses in both breeds. Ames Construction was and still is a huge benefactor for National Western Stockshow

I truly love the Gentla Giants program however, the judging at the finals is so disappointing. Instead of the hitches being judged by the characteristics of the particular breed, they are judged by the Percheron standards. Clydesdales are never placed in the higher positions. Yes, their movement is not as high stepping as the Percherons but that is not what their breed does. Belgians are also never in the top 3 They are super powerful, but not as light legged as the Percherons. If the AKC finals were done like this, only one breed of dog would always win best of show. You can not judge all breeds by the same criteria. That is never going to be a fair final.

I really like this idea. I thought i saw they were rescuing horses. I know i didn't get that confused....

My grandma and grandpa would stop here on our way to waxahachie from Austin twice a month... I loved them cheese burgers n fries so much! Miss this... everytime I saw them frogs I was like awww yeaaa we gonna slam these burgers!

I love horses, I’ll never understand why people put bits in their mouths! If they are trained well enough, they don’t need a bit!

Sad the place was doomed before it was even built. Some investors where very shady! Lots of side deals with the contractors building the property so investors could pocket money. When the bank was getting ready to take the property back Carl Cornelius requested all the security camers be removed out of the safe room. After that Carl would walk around with pockets full of cash. The idea of the place was amazing and def had a special feeling being there.

This is what horse racing is all about : love. Can't count the times I swear someone who had recently passed helped a horse home.

I am a horse logger 17 yrs old started, 4months only. ,first job riding ponies , horses by auction a kid 1 hr .many hours my grandparents 1928 horse logging 1985, Robert's family fort st James.. horse blood,, john.

I love the Clydesdales. They're like the Flag, Mom and apple pie for the symbology of America. I'm so disappointed that Anheuser Busch marred such a long and rich history with all that transgender perversion. Imagine elevating a man who thinks he's a woman for the brand...and not even thinking how offensive that would be to the other 99.7% of the "buying" population. So stupid!!! But I will ALWAYS love those horses ❤❤

Watched them filming a commercial in Yosemite in the 90's and have loved and followed them since. Going to their home in March to learn more about them.

My first time seeing the Six Horse Hitch Classic, the horses are gorgeous !!

The handlers are really impressive. Great and efficient at their jobs.

Sawr them up close at the Mercado In Orlando and I use to see them out in the pastures along the highway when some were kept at the Busch owned parks. When I was a Girl Scout (back in 1990ish), we went over to Busch Gardens and got to see a 10 day old foal with his mama. Love to think he grew to pull the wagon.

This is fun to watch, but it is an American competition. Not a "world" competition.

This way of life seems hard on horses, as wonderful as it is to be driven by them.
