how did you get that dilla type swing? are you sequencing these beats and inputting the accents? Was thinking about getting this machine but curious how you got that velocity change to sound so natural between hits since the pads aren't velocity sensitive.
You can ajust the volume of each individual note in the sequencer.. Also if you set the quantize to the minimum its basically off and you can hammer in the notes exactly where you want them to be.
Tbh i would not buy this again. Its more of a toy if you are geting started.. It was my first peace of gear ever. Otherwise samplers are the way to go to make dope beatsss
I also let the main out thru a compressor to ad aditional bounce and texture

sampletrak only.. you sadly cant record sequence data from a other sequencer/sampler..
pea-pu very impressive work man! You inspired me to get mine out again.. its the nicest sounding sampler i have ever used. Do you prefer standard or hifi sampling? I usually do drums in hifi and melodic samples in standard.

For me, the compressor effect really makes the sound shine on this machine. I don't hear it here on this demo but good beats none the less.
