OS maps are the best in the world, however, their website has got to be the worst in the world! Such a shame, whoever is running this needs sacking and someone with an ounce of intelligence needs to step in

Video tutorials are less than useless. There's no narrative structure, starting from the basics, moving onto more complicated operations like creating a route. I've been trying to find out what the various options for the pointer are and it doesn't even mention it. The lack of a voice-over also means that you're more focused on trying to read the text than watching what's going on on the screen. All in all, badly produced and virtually useless as a learning aid for people just starting out with this system.. 😡

When i have downloaded routes at home on opening the app even without location on my phone it shows the route running and the pause button does nothing, its unresponsive and wont pause or reset. Ive uninstalled the app 3 times and done the route planning at home, downloaded route to phone and then when i opened app id already done 282 miles before the walk and no way of resetting route so deleted again.

It's pretty disingenuous to show the Snap to Route feature when this only works for routes within National Parks. Also, why is there no voice-over? Accessibility is important - many people cannot read subtitles and watch content at the same time.

Premium subscribers should be able to generate a multi-page PDF of a created route. The current clunky method above does not allow that - you have to create multiple printable PDF files of the various sections of the route. Printing the whole route to a single page would be effectively unuseable as you wouldn't be able to see the detail.

If the Snap to Paths feature only works in National parks, that's not much use to those Premium subscribers who wish to create routes elsewhere...

I am struggling with how to go back and print a saved route. If you get your route up and try to print it, it just comes up with the start and end flags, no route visible at all. Could someone explain what I am doing wrong?

It doesn't seem as simple in practice. I wanted to plot a there and back linear route but, having plotted the route to the furthest point, could find no automatic function for retracing the outward leg so that all the statistics such as distance and time are accurate. I tried to plot the homeward section in the same way I plotted the outward section but the map kept coming up with diversions! And my route plotting was complicated by how in reality there is a bridge in a certain location but it is not noted on OS Maps -- a major failing!
