Cape Breton dragway Sophia’s first race weekend
We took off to Sydney Cape Breton Nova Scotia for the second races of the season at Cape Breton drag way we took the civic the pinto and the jr dragster and 7 year old Sophia had her first race weekend stay tuned for more videos of racing this summer

Buds speedway race 2/7 we took home a 1st place finish in the 4 cylinder hobby stock class !

We took off to buds for the stock car races I Sydney Cape Breton Nova Scotia we had all 7 cars our and it was a good day of racing we even took home a 1st place in the 4cyl hobby stock class !

We got the cars ready for race day after a few cancellations it’s finally time to go racing at buds speedway in Cape Breton Nova Scotia

We took Sophia out to get some more practice runs down the lane on her jr dragster to try and get ready to hit the race track then we went atv riding stay tuned for more racing

We took Sophia bike outta the barn and got it running for her to take on a drive threw the trails she enjoys it so much hard to get her off it

We got Sophia out for a few more practice runs up and down the street to try to get use to the jr dragster before she hits the track this July at Cape Breton drag way jr dragster age range from 7-15 and is a growing sport at our track and hope to continue to see it grow stay tuned for more racing over the summer
Dad’s 1972 ford pinto is back to the drag track after 18 long years !

If my dad was as patient as yours, I would have got into engine building and racing at a younger age. Kids need parents like these! 👍
For sure I’m lucky to have my dad teaching me the ropes while I teach my daughter along the way
The Ford Pinto lost to a Pontiac or a Chevy they didn’t show the real winner
The orange cones are the end line yea it did loose this race but it was a test a tune first time back in the track after 18 years I think it did pretty darn good

There’s lots of them around here in Cape Breton we have about 7-8 of them here local to us here that run at our track ages 7-15
Pinto are a great looking drag car, all the race wining history that made them with a born purpose. I had a 81 pinto with a low compression 351w. The engine had 69' heads ( 58cc ), comp cam 292 hydraulic flat tappet, edelbrock torquer 2 intake, 750vac sec carb, 8" rear end - yes i said it right, 8" rear end w/4:11 ratio. The pinto ran 11:80"s using a c4 tramsmossion with 10" mustang 2 torque converter and bellhousing
This is 351w with comp camps ,victor jr heads, Holley 750 carb ,edelbrock intake , c4 trans and 9”inch ford nice set up
My first car was a 73 Pinto did a 289 C4 conversion in 81, never was beat street racing that car

Should definitely try and get a gopro mount for inside car or even on helmet would be deadly to see inside car view

I know this where this is at I was up there this year May 18, 2024 me and a couple of my buddies went up there. I just stood around and watched next year. I might take my Kawasaki, 400 Bayou through the mud is this where the Woodbine substation is, isn’t it?
This is past woodbine this is Loch Lomond side always a good time I didn’t get there this year but my brothers had my jeep and tracker out this year

Need a V6 pony class where you run rwd mustangs Camaros chargers and challengers only and completely stock and the tune is uploaded into the car at the track so none can cheat and they would be a blast to drive and be a very good show they would put on unlike fwd racing
