Throw a muffler on the exhaust port for the sliding door. Pretty inexpensive. Nice.
Hmm too dark and too blue for my taste. I prefer the TNG Style (white and friendly). Apart from that it is really cool.

Simple motion activated enteance door would be more movie like. Alexa is so passe. Great job on the decor.
Main blast door (inner) is pressure mat activated. Space invaders split door is voice activated by design (didn't want to door opening every time the dog wandered by)

What panels is it ? And is it a tv for the space windows ?
Picked up some cheap 55" TVs for the panels, then connected up some old PCs for the LCARS display. For the 3 x TVs (window) use a Matrox Quadhead2Go Q155 to spread the video across the 3 TVs (landscape)

The room is amazing but what made the room awesome for me is the three windows with the earth rotating, that could be made to look like moving through space.

All real... just took a standard door and customized it. Nice paint, a few LEDS and some home automation brings the magic!

Everything is LED and the room is only powered on as needed, so very little power used.

@@osakanone Doors are fully pneumatic. Room itself really does not draw much power and we use it mostly for movies, so the TVs are mostly OFF. Biggest hog is the projector.
@@osakanone ...and it's fully home automated, but no motion sensor since we're mostly sitting. We tell Alexa to startup and shutdown the room as needed.
