Unbelievable magnetic rotation time with cylinder neodymium magnets and steel ball bearings
มุมมอง 63ปีที่แล้ว
Hi everyone, I have been trying to get this to beat a spin time of 3 minutes for quite a while now and today I did it and more than doubled that free spin time and I would like to share it with you all. I have found an interesting way to rotate magnets for an extremely long time with very minimal power (me blowing air through a pen for about 10 seconds) that allows the magnets to continuously s...
Trick With Hard Pack Cigarettes You Have Never Seen
มุมมอง 36ปีที่แล้ว
This is a little unknown trick I have been showing people since I was 16 back in 1993. I was tripping on some local fungus one day when I went to light a cigarette. I happened to smoke Marlboro reds in the hard pack at the time. I opened the top of the pack and thats when I noticed something. The color from the outer packaging on the box was also up under the lid. So I pulled the little flap ou...

Here's a idea if you have an afternoon to play around and an old satellite dish and out of date propane tank. The longest part of the project was grinding off the paint down to steel. Tie a knot in the new USB cable that you poked through the hole so it can't be pulled out and damage your newly made connections. If the device you are working on does not have the cavernous open area like this speaker did then simply put a plastic tie-wrap in place of the knot Voila, you have a strain relief device using either method. Also a little Hot Glue could add even more protection.

    Hey man I couldn't comment on your magnets video so I searched your channel until I found one that had comments 😂...not weird at all right?? Haha. Anyway I was curious about what the sizes of those magnets is. Let me know please. And hey good work I subbed. I'm dropping TH-cam and headed to rumble.

    • @tristinstorm5858
      @tristinstorm5858 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow and I didn't get the notification for this comment , my very first youtube video years back was deleted without any explanation it was just removed. I was researching the Elsagate videos which were getting 50 to 100 million views the day they were posted. These were obscenely violent and graphic hyper sexualized animation videos that were able to circumvent youtubes algorithm that blocked videos with that content from the youtube kids app. When I found my son watching one I was shocked and started digging around and the shit I found was mind blowing, not only were these guys making over 30 thousand videos a month like this through hundreds of channels they were racking up billions of views and millions of dollars in revenue from youtube. And when you went to the comment sections of these videos they have 25 or 30,000 comments and each comment had a thousand replies and those replies had hundreds of replies that were just an emojis or a single word. It had to be a bot program of some kind, so I screen recorded the comments and showed what was happening and showed the glitches in the numbers along with the social blade ratings of these channels and labeled it "youtube has been hacked". The sponsors who paid for the monitazition of theses videos were thinking they were advertising their products to millions of viewers based soly on the numbers without ever watching the videos or looking at the channel and being ripped of for millions and not only that youtube was promoting the horrific graphic sexual violent content to children at the same time. So my channel has been watched and most everything either never promoted by the algorithm and I have never gotten a single notification for any of my posted content since. To answer you question I had to play around with the exact combination of and placement of ball bearings to magnets to get that to happen. The key is to find the perfect amount of magnetic pull to allow almost zero resistance on the spinning portion of the assembly. By using non magnetic ball bearings as the point of rotation this reduces the friction down to almost zero. The larger ball bearing is 6.5 ounces and 1.5 inches in diameter the smaller one is half inch in diameter, the cylinder magnets are 1" by 1/8th" N54 neodymium magnets and their is a a 1/8th by 1 1/2" disc magnet also N54 with a 1/2 " by 3/8ths N54 from a stud finder, those things are wickedly strong magnets once you get the plastic coating off and a magnetron circular magnet from a microwave that helps with the gyroscopic effect that come into play to balance and and add the proper amount of weight this device. . I can take these same magnets and ball bearings and rearrange them in any other combination and not have the same effect. Either the magnetic pull is to strong on one end and effects the rotation of the bearings and slows them down by its magnetic force or the weight to magnet pull ratio is to much and the bearings seperate when you spin them, I was trying to surpass the the rotation time of this metal disk (im blanking on whats its called but its popular in physics) I saw on an Instagram short that spun for 3 minutes after it was spun just once. I managed after some time and trial and error to reach the 3 minute mark. But then I thought if I was able to add more weight and make it more like a gyroscope or upsidedown top maybe I could pass the 3 minute mark, and then I found the perfect combination and went with using air to start the rotation instead of my fingers which were throwing the balance off and boom it spun and spun and kept spinning. As all action has an opposite and equal reaction or is supposed to this seemed to push the envelope and put out an insane amount of rotations to the energy that was initially expended to start the rotation. I am self educated tinkerer so if I get some of the exact terminology wrong I do apologize. Hit me back if you have any more questions bud.

    Would it matter to witch battery connection i connected the black and red wire from the usb cable to? For instance I have BAT-1 & BAT-2 connections to choose from. My question is would i twist both 1&2 red leads and both 1&2 black leads together with with and black wires from usb or would it be ok just to CHOOSE either BAT#1 or BAT#2 ? Thanks for all your help ... god bless

    • @tristinstorm5858
      @tristinstorm5858 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. Some devices have dual battery packs in them so you can either make a jumper which is a small piece of wire that connects the 2 red wires coming from your batteries and another for the 2 black. The jumpers should be stripped at both ends and a small section in the middle as well. Essentially your making 2 "Y" cables where the 2 upper arms of each "Y" connect to your red and black battery lines and the lower arms of the 2 Y cables connect to your red and black usb wires. I hope that makes sense.

    I saw your comment saying you hand crafted your own balisong, I was interested in seeing it! You should make a video about em, would be interesting

    • @tristinstorm5858
      @tristinstorm5858 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I did, I have auctually made a few of them along with many other knives and swords. I have managed to make a working balisong with only 3 pieces besides the 2 pins. I used handles from broken ratchets took an angle grinder and cut off wheel and cut a channel from end to end about 4 /5ths of the way into the handles then drilled out the pin holes for the blade made the blade from a skill saw blade and it works reall well. That was my first attempt. Its quick to deploy without a safety latch on it and with the round handles it rolls very smooth for flipping over the fingers. Its a bit heavy but that can be fixed by drilling more holes in the handle to adjust for balance you just have to sand down the channel so you dont have any metal burrs that might catch the blade. I have also made a more advanced design that uses about 15 pieces of metal all fabricated from rolled steel and old 1/8" thich and 1/4 " thick circular saw blades. They are great for making blades because they are pre hardened steel that holds an edge will and is easy to cut. The most important thing when building a balisong it to measure you flanges on the blade and placement of your holes for the stopping pins and handle placement to be exact and even. And to taper the handles properly on one side so the handles close completely. And the notches in the handles that your pins line up with. If you are off even a hair your balisong will not operate properly.

    Hellz ya! this got my speaker working thanks man. I flipped the mother board and soldered to the negative and positive battery clip pins it doesn't say it is charging but it definitely is. Will it stop charging when finished with this method or will it just keep cooking the battery?

    • @tristinstorm5858

      Well it can cook the battery especially if your using a fast charger box so I recommend looking at the milliamps in the battery and finding a charging box thats equal to or less than the recommended milliamps on the battery pack for safe charging.

    • @tristinstorm5858
      @tristinstorm5858 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry I took this long to get back to you I honestly had no idea this video had so many views or comments I just saw this today and was like damn. Anyhow you do not ever twist the black and red together thats a no no. Make sure to not break the wires going from the board to the battery if you can help it. Try and melt back a tiny bit of the shielding in the middle of each wire going from the board to the battery (red and black wires) to expose the bare wire underneath. Then take your red wire from the usb cord (stripped back about 1 inch on both the red and black wires on the usb cable) and connect the red wire to the red coming from the battery in the middle where you melted back some of the shielding by making a little hook with the red exposed wire on your usb cable and then twisting it tight and putting a small piece of electrical tape over it amd do the same for the black usb cable wire to the black battery wire. Its very important to not disconnect the wires or break them off of the board or battery thats why you use a lighter or heated piece of metal to melt back the shielding on the wires rather than break or cut them. Black to black red to red.

Do I leave the originals in place, strip them back a bit and attach black and red to the original wires. Such a visual learner, it would be great to have a video showing this step.

    • @tristinstorm5858
      @tristinstorm5858 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry I do take a while to get back to people. Yes just strip back the the shielding on the red and black wires that go from the board to the rechargeable battery, I suggest doing it at different spots that way its less likely the wires will cross. Then take your usb cable and attach the red to red and black to black and you should be able to bypass the broken charging port and recharge your battery. I would suggest looking at the rechargeable battery for the proper milliamps and find an old charger box that has the same or less to recharge your devices battery.

    Just incase people are having trouble, tell me of this sounds correct - 1. Open device 2. Find the charging connection on motherboard (green plate like thing that's connected to everything). 3. Strip the USB cord ( cut the opposite end of the USB to expose the wires. 4. Use the newly cut USB wires, and wrap them around where the charging cables previously were for the original cable. (Make sure to disconnect the original cables)

    • @gohanis
      @gohanis 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Basically he removed the battery function of the device because of the broken port. He then hardwired the USB cord to the black and red so that as long as it's plugged in it'll work perfectly. I think I'm just going to hook my son's remote control car to my portable battery pack 😅

    • @tristinstorm5858
      @tristinstorm5858 ปีที่แล้ว

      No do not disconnect the wires from the mother board or battery. Use a lighter to melt back some of the shielding in the middle of the wires between the battery and board to expose a little bit of wire but keep everything connected to the board and battery. Then connect the red and black wires from your usb cord to the exposed wires red on red black on black and use a small piece of electrical tape to seal them back up and keep them from touching each other. Then you should be good to go.
