It's horrible ! We don't roll the "r" in french - only very old lyrical singers do it but the best old french singers roll the r very lightly ! The young generation of our singers, don't roll the "r" in the french "ballades". Don't make believe the students that this is a good way to pronounce my language. They just can listen to : Natalie Dessay, Roberto Alagna, Marianne Crebassa, Philippe Jarousski (in Green for instance), Karine Deshayes, Cyrille Dubois (we are waiting for a new CD about Fauré in may 22), etc...... "Adorrarvi" is not an Italian word. The word is "adorarvi". There is a difference between the pronunciation of one R and two Rs. Why can he pronounce correctly "amare" and "care" but not "adorarvi"? Who knows. Also "diletto" and "affetto" with two Ts. Not "dileto" and "afeto".
