That's the definition of an overdose. Just because people are confused that there IS a safe and lethal dose of ANYTHING doesn't mean it's not an overdose.

Wait a second he’s not wrong wrong about the first part of the definition. He just left out the part where it says dangerous doses meaning a half a pill that was a dangerous dose over dosing is over dosing don’t handle man made drugs and don’t use man made drugs and you won’t overdose

We appreciate your comment. You may be right. However, the science shows that synthetic fentanyl has the highest kill rate among opiate deaths at 75-85%. There were more than 110,00 overdose deaths in America in 2023 alone. Doing the math certainly alludes that a safe dose of fentanyl is unlikely, especially for the inexperienced user aka 14-year-old experimenting with friends.

To be fair I used to be addicted to fent and I would split my roxies in quarters and make sure I felt good before I took any more, so there is technically a safe dose of fent, the problem is is that people are putting too much in the pills, or when they press them one half might have way more fent than the other half because they didn’t mix well

    • @rprd_podcast

I did the same thing with my heroin. Then, I got a batch of heroin laced with fentanyl against my knowledge -- OD'd. The point, in my opinion, is using the term overdose to a 14-year-old child who is curious and wants to experiment is dangerous. I've been there. When I was 14, taking one percocet with the gang was "safe" becuase in my mind, one isn't enough to over-dose. Now, that same mentality it can kill. Times have certainly changed. Thank you for your comment and your recovery.
