I watch that woodcutter that's famous on youtube and he made a vid on what type of axe works best and if your axe gets stuck then your axe might be made for cutting down a tree horizontally and you need one with a thicker blade that is made especially for cutting vertically
@nancyvandermeer4480 the one I'm using is a 4lb splitting maul. Plus the wood is a little wet. Thanks for the advice on the different types of 🪓 to use.
