thanks again for showcasing major crisis with sigil2! it was a bit trippy to see you using the oldskool doom smg skin for the slr rifle. was odd to see two guns that +/- look the same acting so differently. the smg has kinda been remade for the latest major crisis and now in extreme prejudice the slr is a scope fitted rifle that behaves (and sounds) like the fg42 from rtcw as I felt that the rtcw weapon balance of rfiles against smgs worked well so i nicked that idea for MC. however, its standard 'model' is visually based on the zombieman rifle. was good to see the nailgun getting some proper use too. it fires ripper ammotype which means it does more damage on fatter enemies as it deals damage as it passes through an enemy, and will keep passing through enemies till it hits walls behind them. meaning, get some cacos or mancubi in a line and the nailgun is an absolute carnage machine. not so ammo-effecient against single enemies though, but just as deadly. the apparent bfg "randomness" was down to how you were using it. sorry. ;) dooms bfg deals much extra damage after the ball explodes, making it less than ideal for peekaboo shooting. this is something still true in major crisis. you need the enemy in fov when the ball goes up for maximum damage is what I'm saying. as for the ssg, turns out I was chatting nonsense before, sigil2 does have shotgun pickups, you just had the damnable ill luck not to get an ssg on one of the sg spawnpoints this playthrough :( (also means you missed out on the riot-controller auto-shotgun, so double sad) and yes, the ceiling drippy gore is indeed down to major crisis. s'good innit? :D BTW the heart is the upgrade for the secret weapon (the unmaker) which is randomised on invlun pickups. the basic one is a simple laser (works quite like quake's thunderbolt but with better range). the heart artifact is randomly dropped by slain greater demons (cyber or mastermind). if you use it with an unmaker in your arsenal, it will upgrade it to a railgun attack weapon, also unlocking a secondary firemode that is akin to the original doom64 fan-shape-of-lasers attack. yeah its just an excuse to put a railgun into doom and make it fit in thematically and visually. i even animated it so that when its upgraded it kinda morphs into a doometernal inspired ballista version of the unmaker. when using extreme prejudice mod, the unmaker is already unlocked when you find it, making the heart pickups kinda moot, but they are still a little usefull. using one with an already upgraded unmaker will simply give you an ammo boost. thanks again man Matt

Thanks so much for choosing major crisis. Nice to see there are some fans out there. Your vid was both entertaining and amusing bud! And yeah, the zombie and shotgun guy fake deaths have been in for a while but will be dropped in the next update. So thanks for pointing out the annoyance of that particular feature in this vid. Helps me polish the mod more. Fyi, when using extreme prejudice, the magnum is random with the chainsaw and the ssg is rand with sg pickups all the time but I don't think sigil2 uses sg pickups outside of getting one from a shotgun guy, hence no ssg to be found . Hey thanks for showcasing this, hopefully you enjoyed it. I never realised that with subtitles it comes up with those annoying messages, I'll have to see if I can fix that. Edit: Fix implemented, this will be resolved in 1.01. Some general comments: The menu doesn't display the correct keybinds due to a bug in MCC, which is really annoying. Normally going to the previous option in the menu is the B button. On my config, the left and right triggers cycle through the options left and right. Hangar has grav lifts you can use, it would kill me having to walk all around the outside each time! Dude, playing on heroic by yourself? I tested on normal! The weapon drop will respawn weapons as well as ammo, but CE won't respawn equipment/vehicles that are already in use. This is why the weapon has very little ammo when you pick it up but is right next to more ammo. Flood, Sentinels etc won't appear in FF Classic, but can appear in Floodfight / Robocalypse, or Fiesta which has random enemies - you don't need to set it all yourself each time. I'd definitely check out Fiesta. Yeah marines don't tend to last long at the best of times - there's a reason there's an option to make them invincible, and it's on by default for certain gametypes! If you want to change the game you can restart it, instead of needing to quit and reload! With the enemy squads, you can set multiple squad types each round, if you only change one squad then you won't always get your choice. Thanks again for taking a look, hopefully you'll be pleased with the other options and gametypes when you have a chance to try them.

Man the mod looks sweet not going to lie. I've been anx about halo 2 modding since spv3 came out. I urned for someone to mod this game.

the range they shoot is nuts i have passed hole xl campaign mod solo still have to make last 3 levels public but the ark was so stupid and hard and it taken me 4 hours and 11 minutes in two videos had to do two parts for that so cause i'm a massive halo nerd i have to subscribe to you lol and i enjoyed it nice work
