if you enjoyed the video, please like it! After serving faithfully on the British Columbia Society of Model Engineers' Burnaby Central Railway, Our 4-8-4 Northern was in need of some boiler work. As such, it was taken out of service in 2012. Now back with a rehabilitated and updated boiler, this video shows several members preparing for her first steam up in 2013. Please join us as we celebrate...
I was here! 2013!
I hope you had a good time, I know we did.
Love the Burnaby Central Railway! Been a member there for 17 years now myself
Nice video Kent. I havent been at the track since I think June of last year but Im planning to be there for March 26th Easter Saturday to help run trains and then possibly stay for the dinner. Thats a really cool compilation of the fun we have there as members and hobbyists.
+Rosco The Great Thanks Rosco, It was a lot of fun to make. I need to get back to doing some more <G>. I'll look forward to seeing you at Easter then. Remember to let Chuck know when we announce the dinner so you can reserve a space. Kent
Hi Andrew, the BCR started being built 25 years ago (I think) and opened up 3 years after they started. It's been in continuous operation since. Thanks for the like.. I appreciate it. Kent
Looks very good. New additions since I last visited. I'll have to come again soon. Noel Tyler
Thanks, though I've known about them for several years this was the 1st visit I had made. Hopefully, I will be back again soon. Kent
Thanks Dave, I apologize but I didn't realize how much I concentrated on the BCSME stuff and so little of yours. Should I make it up next year, I'll do a better job of balancing out the video :)
Wonderful! Many thanks, Ken, for capturing the action so well
