Kite Launching and Landing - Beginner Series
Stefan reviews the do's and don'ts when it comes to launching and landing your kite.
What is the wind window? Knowing how to read the wind direction and knowing some basic theory to launching and landing your kite can make actually doing it a lot easier and safer. In this video we go over some of the do's and don'ts of kite launching and landing.

Whiteshell Foiling Fever

Think the foil game is limited to just the kiteboarding world? Wrong! We grabbed a few of our favourite big wings a toured The Whiteshell. How long can you pump before your legs burn hotter than the sun!
I can never understand why knots and loops aren't interchangeable. A looped string with a knot at the end can do either. 🙄

I think this is nearly a perfect bar. I just bought one for my duotone kites and I love it…. Just 2 big issues. Also if high V, lines are set in a unique way, you can’t self land steering one front line or you can’t use advanced light wind relaunch with one front and opposite back. 2nd issue is safety… lot of people says that core system doesent flag out completely
Whats the difference between the sensor 3, sensor 3+ and sensor 3 pro?
Sensor 3 and 3+ are the same except the 3+ has the various lines that you can adjust from 18m,20m,22m,and 24m. The 3pro has the black Mario tectanium lines that are stiffer/ stronger and have less bungee to them when under heavy load. The bar is also constructed of carbon fibre equalling a lighter/stronger bar.
Hi! I am looking to buy a testbar since no-one has the pro available new. I am concerned because the retailer I am in touch with sent me photos of the bar and it has a cut on th rubber. They say it is common but this concerned me . Have you experienced this so far ? And If yes, then how long did the bar last with no issues at all ?
Hi there, yes we have seen damaged grips once in a while, it is often easily repairable with a bit of glue and wrapping the damaged part with electrical tape if the damage is small enough. It is merely a cosmetic issue and not a structural issue if it has been repair properly by the dealer. Hope that helps

i am thinking of buyinga MYSTIC STAR 4/3 BACK ZIP GLOBAL BLUE 2021. I am 5'7 roughly 155lbs does a size Medium small would fit
Medium Small would be a good size! But trying it on is always the best bet.

Serious safety issues with the Sensor 3s. Power lines can fray quickly, in just a dozen sessions) preventing the kite from flagging out. Power lines also snap one=ce the outer case has worn. Pleaase check your power line regularly where it slides through the rings. The problem is exacerbated by sand. Forum post with more info on the topic here: kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2408269
Thanks for the input Tony, we have yet to see any of the top fraying occur where the 3 rings move for the flag out system on any Sensor 3 bars in use in our local area but we will definitely keep a look out for that. Seeing as that can for sure prevent the safety system from performing properly. We would highly recommend taking your bar in to your local shop and have them take a look at it. It is important to note that bars should be rinsed out with fresh water after every session to ensure any standing sanding in the release system and lines are cleaned out in order to get the longest life out of your equipment. Keep shredding!!
