What this tells me is that an ebike that's built to ride properly is around double the weight of my bike. I will get one, but they've gotta get lighter.
Interesting, thought these carbons would be a lot lighter than the cheaper alloy version

The Canyons look nice, but then you buy one and one of the proprietary parts breaks and you find out Canyon doesn't carry spares of their own proprietary parts, leaving you with a broken bike indefinitely with no support. It's nice to have a $4k paperweight I can't sell and I can't afford a second bike so it's just no biking for me from now on because I bought a Canyon. Don't be a fool like me!
I have a hot tip on how to drop some lbs., drop that motor and battery. Not funny? Neither is what's happening to mountain biking. ✌️

Do pro athletes need assistance pedalling? Thought these were for fat lazy kids....
The light and mid power eBikes don't seem to be at all popular with the pro Enduro bro's, nor do inserts.....high power as regulations allow and big wh batteries to supply that as long as possible make the most sense I guess?
Small batteries because they are allowed to change during the race.
@@enduromtbmexico5173 I consider a small battery to be in the 300-400wh range while most of the bikes shown were in the 600-800wh range? It surprised me because I thought that because they should be able to hot swap batteries then going with a smaller one to save weight would be the norm. But what do I know about pro enduro, not much.
