All Might: One who steals Quirks has no limits. Anything is possible. There are Quirks that hold aging. He probably has something like that. The Symbol of Evil seemed pretty much immortal.

I'm talking out of my bum here but... In my opinion what makes this exposition so interesting is, quite simply, because it recontextualizes something we were already interested in. If you are explaining the backstory to something the reader doesn't care about then you're just throwing unwanted gab around. But in MHA here we've already been emotionally invested in Deku because we understand his struggle, his quirklessness, and his drive to be a hero. We understand that OfA, to him IS his dream, it's what makes it possible. (Also bear in mind that Horikoshi left us with an information-vacuum about the origins of the very weird OfA back in ch. 1, naturally this leads the reader to have questions about it and thus, interest.) So when we learn that this power that gave Deku his everything came from a monster, the boogeyman to the society of MHA? We're riveted, suddenly there's a shadow over our hero's dream. And when you learn that this Monster could still be around for Deku to face...? Yeah... We interested... We VERY interested. (Please give me the deets to find your writing if you are willing, I'd love to read your work Marc!)
Also from a screenwriting perspective the fact that there's animation to overlay what All might is saying takes it from exposition to narration that what it should feel like, like his words are telling a story rather than just talking that's the difference between good and bad exposition. It has its place but it needs to be done right and shouldn't be constant.
@@athreeringcircus I think you have the right idea. The story already has us itching to know more, because it set up the intrigue first. So the infodump doesn't feel like a chore but a payoff. Plus, it's used to set up more stakes, the shadowy figure of an ancient villain.

You can say what you want about Bakugou. You can call him a bully, a jerk. A careless, arrogant, stubborn fool with a 'strongest there is' mindset. But his speech at 4:30 really defies an important part of him. An important part of the hero Bakugou wants to be. The one who either fights and win or dies trying while taking his enemy down with him. Simply out of spite. It's probably what makes him so admirable, despite his many, many faults. It's so relatable. Eventually, Bakugou's goal of winning as a hero will develop into 'Saving to win'. This is ironic since this is exactly what Deku would do. The difference is that Deku wants to save people. To make sure no one gets hurt. Even if he has to break every bone in his body (No pun intended). This becomes 'Winning, to save' And those new mentalities helps to intertwine Deku and Bakugou's relationship as allies, comrades, and even friends

He literally said "it passes on quirks".... "Quirks"....quirk(S).... It was right there the entire time as everyone thought it just passed on the stockpiling quirk when he said quirks as I'm multiple. Obviously all might didn't know this, but it was the creator giving us a hint.

This fight is what made me admire bakugo the bite was so telling of his true feelings and reflected what all might saw in deku willing to sacrifice
