The new lining is terrible it wears from the Inside out and ylu are lucky to get 12 month out of the shoe I wear them for work and have for many mnay years they would last at least 2 years but now they last maybe 6 to 12 months before the heel on the inside gets holes and wears through the whole shoe

If you can, I recommend importing your next pair of Chucks from Converse Japan. Since they're not affiliated with Nike (aside from licensing), the Chucks that are made for the Japanese market keep the same high quality as Made In USA Chucks from the 90s (both the Japan and Indonesia-made ones), complete with the classic canvas lining and none of that slipper felt on the soles. The only way to get them outside of Japan is to use a proxy service such as Japan Rabbit. When I bought two pairs of the Indonesia-made Chucks from Converse Japan, the total, including service fees and shipping, only cost about $13 more than just buying two pair of Nike's garbage Chucks here in the States.

In fact, you just made a point of saying that it is lighter than Murray's Super Light that I have decided to stick with the latter product once I finish the Exelento cans that I have, now that Murray's announced it is no longer making that product. So, now, I am all set. I just go ahead and start buying Super Light for my hair. But it also means that Murray's is going through a decline in their assortment of original pomades. I once used Wavine, another Murray's product, for a number of years before being eliminated by the company in the early 2000's. But thanks for the video. It was very helpful to me.
