Very cool!
I had never heard of this place before. Great to learn the history and looks very well preserved.
Very interesting, thanks for posting... D
you have to go in the summer and swim in the hole!!
that area used to be known as French Creek falls. before it was trendy, and before all of the sidewalk sissies with their spray cans found it, rock hopping can be fatal in high water, lives have been lost there, sadly some fall in and get sucked down by water pressure and cant get out.
My dad used to belong to the art co-op, I spent many days hopping those boulders as a kid. 53 now and I’ve brought my girlfriend, now wife & family back there several times. It’s a local jewel.
Great video! Back in the 70s and 80s we used to camp at Warwick Woods and walk the old railroad bed over to St. Peters. Good times!
That is really neat that you can go behind the waterfall. I did this trail in the fall, but I didn't realize you could do that. Very cool.
Thank you Sir! FINALLY, a review that's actually very helpful for selecting/avoiding particular sites.
Your video was truly beautiful and inspiring. As a fellow creator, I appreciate the effort you put into it. Sub and 👍26
Neat, I knew about the other ringing rocks park - but not this one.
Anyone know is it glacial or alluvial?
Answered my own question. Glacial.
All the years... never been here, thanks brother!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thats beautiful
That was a beautiful area and such a short hike to access the falls.
Internet says this iron furnace in Pennsylvania was built in 1832.
Beautiful waterfall and neat that old furnace is right near there too.
Beautiful forest!
Thanks for the video, I live in the area, and have visited the area many times. My.father who was born in the late 1800's told me that the hemlock is the native tree to our area.
Looks like a beautiful spot to hike with all those old trees. Liked the view from the firetower too.
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Those trees looked huge. I've been to an old growth forest of Hemlock trees at Laurel Hill, but these trees at Cook forest look way bigger.
I always enjoy these when I have to book a campsite. Seeing it through a video is so much better than using that map.
@@hikingoutdoorfamily Thank you! That is exactly the intent. Glad it is useful
Is there a trail from Buzzards Point to loop back to the parking lot? Or is just there and back?
Thanks for the question. There are multiple side trails that we've not yet explored; however, to my knowledge there is not a loop from Buzzard's Point to the parking lot. In any case, I love this area and it is well worth the visit. If only we had more time!
Very nice!
Very neat. My kids enjoyed looking in there when we visited a few years ago.
Heading there next month, this was very helpful! Thank you!
Thank you for the feedback. That's what we're here for and it is my dream to help equip and inspire people to enjoy the outdoors.
👍
I live in South Eastern Pennsylvania you should see some of the things I've found check out my channel...Lost Indian silver mines not to mention there are several mines and industrial sites along the Pennypack Creek that are just not documented there's also an old mercury/lead mine, and there an area they were quarrying iron rich limestone now this sight is extremely old I feel like it's left over from the colonial period. I think some of these sights were utilized by the colonial army during the revolution, I think this area was a production and supply depot it was friendly to the colonial cause there were more Mills in the pennypack then just about anywhere in North America during the war, just a theory but there's some cool stuff back through that area.
What kind of rock is this?
This is an awesome state park. So many unique things to see here. Love the footage you captured of the Balanced rock. My family and I rented the Trough Creek lodge a few years ago from the park system. A neat place - slept 10 people so we were able to bring some extended family with us.
Coolest rock Ive seen this year! Lol
Beautiful trail. Thanks for sharing 🌲
Loved the porcupine footage. So neat!
Nice Video always wanted to check out the haystacks
That looked like such a beautiful spot to go swimming.
Awesome video. I have hiked this trail before and enjoyed it.
Hello my friend! Always good to reflect on those passed on! Have a good one!
Just found your channel and enjoyed this very much. I have hiked this trail before. Just subscribed to your channel. I also post nature and outdoor content on my channel too.
I miss a wild garden like this. A very mysterious, but also interesting and calming place.
Looks like a fun trail to explore. Nice job pointing out all that it has to offer!
Yaay, thanks for another!

Thank you for sharing!
Wearing a bike helmet is a good idea while hiking around this type of rock formations. I live in the Southerntier of New York State. We have many gorges and trails with this type of rock formations. You never know when there will be a rock fall !
YIKES! That is one "resident: that I would NOT want to share a campsite with!
Here to show support to help your algorithm fight! Keep up the good work my friend!
Thank you very much for your support. I have so many adventures to share and hope to give ideas of places to go and encourage people to get out.
