Can you measure the output voltage of the regulator/charger (the wires that connect to the pickup)? Does it change under load or when battery voltage drops or is it always the same? Do you have an oscilloscope? Can you read or get a macro shot of the component labeled U1? What does the other side of the charger/regulator board look like, any coils or inductors?

Coming up on six years late and a dollar short. Lol I do so enjoy listening to you both speak and play. Mine is an unusual situation, after an accident 30 years ago I lost the ring finger on my left hand and only took up the ukulele a few months back. Playing a guitar when I was younger did help but now, at 66 I have the time to start over with the ukulele. And your lessons, though old for many are new for me, and very much appreciated. kailuamusicschool I'm still young but i'm interested in making my ukulele electric, I don't really understand these instructions so i was hoping for clearer instructions w/ pictures maybe. I was also wondering for your opinion if it's ok to use a new ukelele. I have an old one but it's not really a good ukelele, it was a cheaply made one but i got a new one already and i've had it for a few months. Thanks

Your cymbal hits would be a lot tighter in time if it wasn't swinging around so much. It's in a different place every time you try to hit it. The toms sound great, I wish I could get mine to sound that good recorded. Do you tune to a specific interval top/bottom?
