It's like the Scrambler, but much more intense and it's vertical and unpredictable.

LOVE THE ZIPPER! The sound it makes takes me back going in it for the first time. Watching in fear waiting for our turn. Chance Rides thank you updating this classic ride.

They took out this in where i live D: So I only got to ride it when I was in first and second grade. Trust meh, that was one of the most terrifying moments of my life

Great ride, but the newer model cars are what takes away its thrills. I had so much fun on the old one. The cars now have actual seats, and you can't grab onto anything to flip the cages even more. I went on the new one for the first time and got off it sad. The seats had no padding and have over-the-shoulder restraints. It takes away the open feeling which was the best part about it. Luckily, there is a mall parking lot carnival and they have one of the super old Zippers so I can experience the real ride again. If you've read to here, which do you like better?

why was the ride so short??

The Zipper is one of those "old time" rides that allows the operator to control it. It can be pretty tame to downright terrifying. One of the most intense rides you can find with the "right guy" running it.

Favorite carnival ride

Y'know, I finally decided to give this ride a shot. Went on about 5 times for a friend, never again. I can say that with the utmost certainty, I picked a bad ride to start out with for going up a notch in my previously only flat ground rides that spun around like the Gravitron and scrambler ride.

I first saw this rode when I was in grade school at the Montclair carnival in Oakland. I love watching it, but I've never had the nerve to ride it. The sound amplifies the scariness

The noises it makes is scary, also the feeling u r gonna fall outta ur cage too. But the ride itself is scary.

ok ok once upon a time yesterday i was at a carnival then i went on a bunch of ride then my sister wanted my to go on it then i was saying no cuz last time i was cryinng and saying stop normaly but THIS time i hehe went on i and couldent breath having a heart attack it wasnt even starting lol then when it did start i was going upsidedown frontflips backflips and screaming "STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP" and crying bc they forgot to take us of the second time so yeah fear!
