What time of the year did you camp? Curious if it was during January or February.
This was during January.
I enjoy following your bike tips! 💖
We are so glad you're enjoying the bike tips! Thanks for watching.
Handy. Dandy
Thanks for watching!
Hope to get there next summer
It's a cool place, we can't wait to get back.
Hello again ! Praying you are Both Safe and Healthy.. Dec 5, 2024 today.., catching up on all your Great Videos,, . Quick question, How many miles on the Van you pull the Wee Roll with ? Year of it ? I never really thought of a Van to pull the trailer,, Definitely smart with all the room it has. What size engine ? Would you buy it again? Sorry for all the questions but im trying to figure out how to do all this, 😀.. Have a Blessed Day. Peace 🙏 from Big Jim New Hampshire USA aka Boston Strong
The van is a 2019 3/4 ton with a 6L engine. It currently has 115,000 miles. As you can tell, we put some miles on it. The van is rock solid and I like that I can keep bikes and things in it. I only get about 12mpg while towing and 18 or 19 without. It's been a good decision for us. Thanks for the questions, and thanks for watching!
My Goodness, I hope people on that gravel road ruding bikes aren't attacked by any Predators....
They are as tough as it comes!
Love your videos, trying to catch up on them !! Happy trails .. God Bless 🙏. Big Jim New Hampshire USA aka Boston Strong
Thanks Big Jim, we appreciate you watching!
Do you regret not insulating the floor ? Or can't it be insulated ? Must be a way to do it during build ? TY have a Blessed Day. Big Jim New Hampshire USA aka Boston Strong
I was not able to insulate the floor, it would be nice to figure out how to do it for cold weather camping. We are heading back out west in Jan and Feb and it gets down in the 20's in the desert. Thanks for watching!
I truly like your rig! Well done. Have you ever figured out your hitch weight?
Thanks so much for watching, we really appreciate it. No, I never did bother to figure my hitch weight. It doesn't seem to be an issue so I just really haven't worried about it. If I ever weigh it again though I think I will go ahead and try to figure it out. Thanks again for watching we really appreciate it.
Hey guys...
Hi Howard!
Happy Turkey Day!
Awesome
One way to do it. It would certainly solve my problems
Thanks for watching!
Ohhh cool!!!! We are at Maynard Electric's Hurricane Relief Center in Morganton NC and there is another volunteer here who was just talking to us about an island he lives on that is 4x6 miles and they have wild ponies there!!! Maybe ai heard on my phone and put ur video up,ha! We r camped in a field beside the warehouse we r volunteering in. They sure are getting a kick out of us Canucks being here😂❤🙋🚗🇨🇦🚗🇨🇦‼️
Hey, you are only 120 miles away from us. We live in Franklin, NC! Too bad we are leaving on Saturday for a Thanksgiving cruise with the family or we could try to meet up. Thanks for volunteering, I am sure they really appreciate it! Cheers!
@TheGnometownCampers we are headed to Ashville and areas around there also to help, and then West Union SC to visit friends. I posted a short about it on youtube😜🙋🚗🇨🇦🚗🇨🇦♥️‼️
I used to put a lot of miles on an ebike. I carried a spare tube and a co2 inflator with me and some basic tools. The co2 inflator fits in your pocket.
Thanks so much for watching, David. I always carried a CO2 inflator on my road bike when I went road riding. I've also got a frame pump on my touring bike. And I've got a floor pump in my garage. But I found with the high volume, fat tires on my e-bike that the electronic pump works well. And it fits right in my panniers with my tubes and tools and other things. But yes, the CO2 inflator wins for sure, in weight and portability. Thanks for the comment!
What brand is that pump? Great vid!
Thanks for watching, it's the Woowind brand on Amazon.
Any suggestions on what brands to buy? Most stuff now days is JUNK. I’d hate to rely on something like this and have it fail on the trail or road. Pumps don’t fail. Thanks
I use this one and have had no problem with it. a.co/d/7xk9UQq
Great information, I had no idea something like that is available for biking.
Thanks so much for watching, we really appreciate it!
Did anybody camp there post hurricane Helene?
Another great and informative travel video. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks so much for watching!
What are you guys using for an air pump?
The day i get a flat, its the same day the battery will be flat too😢
Yes, every time! 😂Thanks so much for watching!
Wow!!!! My husband bby spent 5k custom build on his bicycle and all his tire pumps seem to fail.
Isn't it the way it always happens? Thanks, Jane!
Lovely episode man!
Thanks!
What do you use for a pump?
A great video. Very informative and great views. Thank you.
We're glad you enjoyed it, and thank you so much for watching, we really appreciate it!

Hey new friend! Found you on Ervenslens channel. Great video! Leaving sub. Now thats a meal!
Hi TrailStrider, thanks so much for watching and for the sub! Cheers.
@ Anytime my friend! Full support for another traveler!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
New subbie from central Alberta, 🇨🇦! When were you in NFLD? We’ll be there next summer!
We were there most of the month of July. We made friends with other travelers there who were also from Alberta. We really loved it there, thanks so much for the sub!
@ we’ll be there Jun 26-July 30, can’t wait!!
This looks great man, nicely explained!
Glad you like it!
That's how to make a good easy bake camp breakfast! Bet it was delicious! I haven't seen Crystal hot sauce here in Arizona, or the southwest. Something out of this world I gotta try, or is it similar to Louisiana Red hot sauce, or Tabasco, or is it more pepper based like the Mexican hot sauces out here? Thanks, and cheers! Pete in Arizona - KI7LIL
Crystal is a Gulf of Mexico staple. We didn't used to get it up here in NC but can find it now. We always saw it in the oyster bars and fish houses on the gulf coast of Florida. It's mild, with a good taste, similar to Tabasco or Red Hot. It's our family favorite.
Just got mine it’s amazing
Enjoy, thanks for watching!
Not a bad spot at all! Looks like yall had a good time
Thanks!

Right back at you Diane!
You ARE the multitool😂 that means you are a good husband🎉❤🙋🚗🇨🇦♥️‼️
Yep , mr. multitool!! 😉
Thanks Jane!
I lived 60years on Vancouver Island Canada and we had a bottle castle there too! I use bottles in my outdoor mosaic projects, I cut them for the rondels! I mostly collect blue bottles! I even made a 10ft high bottle tree with long spikes nailed all over a 4x4, I cant remember how many bottles it was but it sure was a sight!!!! Thx for taking the tour❤, I I remember in school, learning about PEI and I always wanted to go there but have not yet made it. But there is a lot of BW there! When I was a kid, we would drive to the beach and gather oysters, build a fire and cook them open, brought a bottle of vinegar and ate them just like that. But now they are gone, pollution and people from other countries coming and raping the natural resources...we have always only taken what we need and leave the baby stuff to grow up but thats all changed. Clams too.
I love the blue glass, myself. Those glass houses were cool. I bet your bottle tree was a beaut! You would love PEI, great folks there, like you. You'd feel right at home!
@@TheGnometownCampers aww you are too sweet!!! Hoping to see you on our travels again🚗🇨🇦♥️‼️
This was gorgeous trip guys! 12 000 bottles is a huge number, what a unique room!
You are the best, Ervin. Thanks for watching!
I’ve got to say, this is my favorite video from y’all yet! Made me wish I was following right behind you on this trip. If you ever do a caravan let me know!! … And the Eagles, another reason to love ‘bald’, right? Lots of love to you guys! ❤
We're heading to Big Bend and Death Valley in Jan. and Feb. if you're out that way, give us a holler!
That intro is hilarious! I love Real 😉! …. And the way they display the potatoes (sp.? Is it Potato or Potatoe?) so cute. … No stone throwing at THAT place, wow! I’ll have to start drinking more wine so I can donate to your new ‘house’! Haha … great place to land during a storm! Now I know where the pirates got “blow me down!”.
Who would've known PEI was so quirky? Thanks for watching, we appreciate it!
Wonderful trip, impressive bottle buildings. Thanks for taking us along
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video
Thanks so much for watching, we appreciate it!
This is a very beautifu place. Been there a couple of times. You must do the skyline trail if already haven't done so. Thanks for sharing. 👍14
