There are basically no videos of Christina doing Thank Goodness, so I uploaded one. I think she's a pretty underrated Glinda. And she's really good in this, as is Clifton. This scene as a whole is awesome. From 3/4/07 show with Victoria Matlock; full show for trade.
If you think SJB is powerful enough already through TH-cam, imagine that being in a theatre. When she’s live, her voice is 10000000000000 times bigger, rounder, warmer and more 4D. If you’ve heard SJB live, you would understand that. Her voice really fills up the WHOOOOOOLE theatre very very very FULLY!! The closest description I’d say her voice is the strongest magnet you can find in the universe. The moment she sings, it just sucks your souls in entirely like a big magnet. ❤❤❤
I saw her in the Into the Woods tour. She is truly UNMATCHED

I love the way she changes the vowels at the very end! Makes it so “witchy” sounding!
I don’t think I’ve seen someone else who does this ❤ I also love her ‘DOCTOR Dillamond’ j block is really a total gem, always strikes for perfection and she works very hard to create her own unique interpretation with subtle changes like this for every song/role.

Do we know if she is hitting the high note at the end? I always find it interesting to know (not in a bad way) the ones the lip sync it from those that do it live.
All Glinda's do all their notes live. They aren't like Christine Daae, nothing is recorded.
@@wickedly4 I mean lip sync because an u/s Glinda is doing it live on the stage.
