Calvinists need to repent and abandon their man made false doctrine. (We will debate Lincoln Douglas Style these folk). It's simple, the Word of God, God the Son does not dwell in them. Their anti-christ god father John Calvin who was an oppressive tyrant of Geneva, and from a percentage perspective murdered citizens at the cyclic rate, is their "god-father." Calvinists are the islam of Christianity. A neo-gnostic heresy that perverts the word "sovereignty" in the same manner as "god wills it" in islam. Furthermore, there is evidence that John Calvin was a proto-mason and had to leave France because he was guilty of sodomy. It was the Calvinist that damn all humanity and pervert the scriptures. It was the Calvinists who started the wars of religion. It was the Calvinist who slaughtered the Catholics, Irish, and instituted Slavery in Africa and the New World. It was Calvinists who refined the made up doctrine of "sola scripture" and "faith alone" that are not biblical. It was Calvinists who added "chapter-verse" to the bible and formalized it, so they could slice and dice the letters and paragraphs. It was the Calvinists that banned Christmas, slaughtered women by the hundreds of thousands in the witch trials of Europe. It was the Calvinists who in New England were so righteous they had to fight "the devil" in all the follow on witch trials, and then were pro slavery for 200 years before the Civil War. It was the Calvinist who butchered Scottish Catholics, killed Mary Queen of Scots, made the Church of England, and the KJV. It was Calvinist who were the "reformed protest" of the father of lies, and it is the Calvinists, God the Father Forbid, who would unleash sword and slaughter upon civilization if they ever took power of the state again. God the Father God the Son and God the Holy Ghost Defend and Preserve us from the scourge and heresy that are these false prophets and useful idiots of the Devil. Amen.

"Knowing this was our salvation Jesus for our sake your died"...We don't deserve this but God sent His Son anyway.

Our favorite line is "to redeem the whole creation" because God cares about us and creation.

My favorite verse is 'To fulfill the law and prophets' because I never noticed that Jesus came to fulfill the law as well as the prophecies. - Levi

We like "From a throne of endless glory/To a cradle in the dirt" because we can easily picture it happening in our minds. It's important that he came because then we wouldn't be able to go to heaven.

“Till from heaven you came running there was mercy in your eyes” He is still merciful towards us even when we sin and fall short. He knows all the wrong we have done and still chooses to come to us with love mercy and compassion

"There was mercy in your eyes" ... When I think of all the ways that I fall short in my Christian walk, God could easily come running with condemnation, disappointment, anger, and yet the lyric in this song says there is mercy in His eyes. That, to me, is a beautiful reminder of Jesus' motivation in coming to earth. His great love and mercy. I also loved the Old Testament verses when God reveals His name to Moses... "The LORD, the LORD God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and filled with gracious love and truth."

I really like the line "to fulfill the law and prophets" because it shows the continuity of God's grand redemptive story from the Old Testament to the New Testament. The coming of the perfect Messiah was highly anticipated and specifically predicted by the law and prophets thousands of years before Jesus was born in Bethlehem. Only a Sovereign Lord could accomplish a plan like this.

We read and thought of several passages. One was Deuteronomy 20:1-4. The others mentioned were when the angels visited Joseph (Matthew 1:20), and also when the angels appeared to Mary Magdalene at the tomb (Mark 16:1-8).
